This app is HORRIBLE. Ever time you change a setting, it crashes and must be reloaded. It has reset settings that were made cause major issues with heating the house. Ripping the associated S40 thermostat out to put my ecobee back so I can actually use it.

Not easy, friendly. Can not find where mult. settings are. I am only finding one setting. Would like to find where I can have different temperatures for evening morning etc. where is it. There is no book to find out how.

I can access this anywhere. I did have trouble changing the settings when I was out of town once, but it could have been my phone having connectivity issues

Last update removed any controls for my thermostat. I can only select to unregister the thermostat - this software incompetence is THE reason why I was hesitant to leave Nest.

every once in a while, when I open the app it will show my home's temperature, but won't let me change the mode or settings until I force close the app and reopen it. also, I wish that the app allowed lower temperature settings. the lowest it let's you set is 60 degrees. when I'm away for more than a day in the winter, I don't need my house heated that high, I just need it a little above 30 to keep the temperature above freezing.

For something that costs more than many cellphones it is ridiculously feature poor. I can set the temperature without issue, but accessing other functions is often an exercise in futility. It can take a full minute sometimes to respond to a single button press if it responds at all. Amazon never finds it, so controlling it with that app is impossible. Sometimes it forgets what mode it is supposed to be in, and programming its limited daily settings is a bad joke.

After 15 years of having an S30, it died and I upgraded (downgraded, as I found out) to an S40. In contrast to the Lennox S30, the software for the S40 has been considerably dumbed down and unresponsive. Trying to find a dealer on Dealer Support does not work. Uploading a screensaver photo does not work (although it tells it does). The screen information is now basic and simple. Frequent disconnection with the server even though close by the router An underwhelming and expensive experience.

I've been trying to register my new Lennox 25 SEER system since it was installed yesterday through both the app and at the S40 thermostat. The new system is fantastic! The app is not so much. All I get is : Error. Unable to create an account. Please try again later. The same message is through the app and the thermostat. Yes, it is connected to the internet through my router. Ugh.
