The app is great. I really have no complaint at all with the unit. I have experienced an issue where my joying android head unit will not Bluetooth connect to the dayton processor but my phone will so I'm certain the head unit just isn't going to allow this type of connection. I could possibly get around this problem and keep my head unit if I were able to plug this into the USB port on the unit and run it that way but I believe this app only supports Bluetooth. This isn't Dayton's fault

Good. Except... The gains on the EQs can not be entered numerically, and adjusting them on a (small) phone screen is tough. Would probably be better on a (large screen) tablet... On the Windoze app, EQ1 and EQ10 can be changed from a Parametric EQ to a Low Shelf and High Shelf respectively. The Android app doesn't have that feature - I guess. I haven't found it anyway. It converted my High Shelf back to PEQ10.

pros I love it and you could change every aspect right down to the number on every setting. a few things I do not like is 1 you have to rotate the screen to see all the EQ sliders. another thing I do not like is that in order to use the remote volume knob you have to turn the app off within the app with the power button on the top right and last but not least I hate the fact that the app does not reload previous settings everytime it reconnect to the DSP it should reload last preset please

I've had my DSP 408 for several years and have found the if you use a cheap stylus pen to make your peq +/- slider adjustments it's easier than using your finger on your phone. I also just got a new laptop and found out there's a high, and low shelf +/- adjustments you can only make on a computer / laptop. This feature isn't available on the phone app. So, I'd really like to know when will the high/low shelf filters be available on the phone app.. ?

App works great when it works. I love the option of using my phone to make adjustments on the go and not have to drag laptop out. Problem is that as soon as they are made and start listening to music the app disconnects itself within a couple minutes every time making it very aggravating. If you have the volume up loud and you need to lower quickly forget it since the app will have disconnected and you have to go through whole process of opening app and connecting Bluetooth just to turn it down

this is a keep it simple and straight apps. very intuitive and effective. however, I had a dangerous situation using the EQ. the filter just gone and full spectrum went to the tweeter. i had to go back to the PC app to reset the EQ

Very easy to use and company has been busy fixing the small bugs that any app has when it first comes out. The hardware is nothing short of amazing. Nothing can touch it in this price range (maybe even much higher price range)

so easy to use and adjust on the fly when different music needs different tuning its so much easier than having to lug around my laptop just to change the tuning plus with the Bluetooth feature it makes it so easy to stream my music from my phone thru the dsp
