In the letters round you will need to spot the longest word you can from the 9 letters in the given time limit on the clock. In the numbers round, you will needs to use additiona, subtraction, multiplication and division to turn the 6 numbers into a target number between 101 and 999. In the conundrum round you have to solve an anagram to unscramble the 9 letters word within the time limit.

Leaderboard rankings expire after a certain amount of time. I don't object to that, but wish that was stated somewhere in the app to avoid confusion. Otherwise, we're looking at an amazing product. Ads aren't played at problematic times, and are extremely relevant. Game is challenging but still entertaining. Random factors seem to do their job well. Really good app.

I think this is the best Countdown App. Developer extremely responsive to an issue with my Premium Subscription, which is well worth paying. I love the Daily Challenges. I hope to see Pass and Play and Online Play against friends one day, as well as a way to define your own game (number of rounds, custom time, etc). As is, this is already the best way to get your Countdown fix.

Highly recommend this app for any Countdown fan! Straightforward to use, good design. Worth buying the ad-free version for those that are complaining about ads. From a personal perspective, it would be nice to have a mode where you can make all of the selections- there've been a few occasions recently where the Computer has picked 5 vowels after a set of 4 dodgy consonants. Would also be nice to have a multiplayer mode in some capacity. Best Countdown app on the market, though!

Countdown is a firm favourite, and I have to admit to a fondness for the 8 Out of 10 Cats version too. Love this game, definitely the best one I have come across. Sleek look, easy to navigate, great array of options to use. The Unlimited function is a game-changer. It gives me time to consider alternatives, and so is actually helping me to improve with practice. Numbers are always my favourite, but I have found that I really enjoy trying to figure out the conundrums! A really wonderful app.

**Updated** Delighted to give this app 5 * ... the devs quickly&pleasantly resolved my issue completely (see below). Brilliant game, highly recommend. Just like channel 4 prog. Original issue (now resolved)... I love this game& Ive set up a plan to pay monthly. Unf nothing has changed, and Im still having to endure ads. Im addicted to this game and play frequently, and I WANT to pay to go ad free. MODS-Please fix this, and ill be happy to change my review bk to original 5 stars.

Really nicely done app, let down by a poor dictionary Often words which are present in the OED, & so should be valid, are rejected examples all rejected in play this evening: druids, proxied, slinked, bassine Numbers rounds work well, but button placement (add/sub/mul/div) feels wrong & i often mix up add/divide. To my mind should be div/mul/add/sub (after BODMAS) The adverts are mildly irritating - but there's no option to buy as a one-off purchase, only to subscribe which I don't like.

Great App. My only criticism is with the conundrums. Why can't you change the first letter once played. The reason I ask is that I have "fat finger syndrome" so often catch the wrong tile resulting in a wasted conundrum.

Used to be good, but the repeated ad is so irritating - I'm all for supporting developers but I won't buy anything at all on this app if I'm repeatedly forced to stare for totally longer than necessary at the same ad for premium after so many rounds. Would be better if there were several difficulty levels - some of the accepted words are so ridiculously rare that you won't see them ever make an appearance on the TV show even when octochamps play, and the letter frequencies seems a bit off.
