I chose this particular softener model because it had to be installed in the loft - I thought being able to monitor it from my phone would be a good idea. But it appears that a lot of the intended functionality doesn't actually work - it says that there is 88% salt in it and everything is OK, but this never changes. It also gives a warning- device not synced, and you can only ever see water consumption for the current day - the OK button is disabled for selecting date ranges.

First experience is very disappointing! App is buggy, will not connect to pool cleaner. Bluetooth keeps turning off on the box, had to unplug and plug it on and eventually came back on, I can see it in the app but just will not connect. I just got the F1 RX which as was happy to pay premium price for but I am seriously thinking to go a swap it for a dolphin

App does not work. App detects robot. Then select robot. Enter pool size ect. And when I press save it get a registration failed message. Tried heaps of time. App sucks

The app is useful if you have a BWT WiFi enabled softener. It shows your water usage and salt level. However here is the major flaw. Initially the salt level updates on the app. After a couple of days, it completely stops. I hope this bug gets fixed soon. A work around suggestion - keep clearing the cache and data or reinstall the app.

Working now and feature request: The bluetooth connection is now much better. Previously you could pair but not subsequent connects would never work. Thanks for fixing that. And a feature request, would be good if the app could report an absolute total value for water used since activation.

New Edit December 2022: BWT Support stated the issues were fixed. THIS IS NOT TRUE. THE EXACT SAME ISSUES STILL EXIST TODAY. THEY LIED. BWT Perla unit can't be found by the App but network/Bluetooth scanners show Bluetooth is active on the Perla unit and signal is strong. Tried on an Apple phone too: the app asks which location and exits. Terrible, please fix it.

This is undisputably the poorest codef application or game I have ever had the unfortunate experience using in decades. I can't even mention a single function or feature which hasn't played up repeatedly, even constantly. The user experience is worse than an alpha release, it's THAT bad!

There are no products in this range that are AVAILABLE TO REGISTER IN YOUR AREA. So in clear text... My money is good enough to take... But you will refuse service because of my location. I despise such business practices. Even if you happen to not have support in this country, you do have installers here that install your products. Your products are not free - they cost money. I don't know what your issue is with this bit penalizing your customers is NOT a good idea. Extending support - IS.
