The stories are so great they helped me in tough times. And even though I didn't have the money to buy them at first, it made me appreciate the free content even more. Really, big thumbs up to the authors, and everyone who is behind the functioning of the app! :D And let's not talk about the customer service which is awesome with quick answers, clear instructions and the will to help!

Most stories have more than just choices, stats, mechanics, and relationship meters that may effect the story much later on so yeah it's pretty cool and a great way to support writers

It's really fun to play through these books, a lot of them cost money tho. One of the things that bothers me is that there's no way to go back and fix a mistake(mis-tapping) or just restart a chapter. You have to restart the whole book if you want to change anything, which gets really annoying. I wish there was a way to just restart the chapter.

The option of restoring bought stories from their apps doesn't work even a little. It refuses to acknowledge that the games are even installed

A lot of stories are now too expensive for the poor writing they offer. Shame they used to be good at least for the price they used to want, now plenty of them are like $20 for 10 chapters of mediocre writing. Stories still need a checkpoint system. All in all these games have fallen far.

I have read millions if not more of words from choose your own adventure games and I am always coming back for more. For around a decade I have been using choice of games and I imagine I will continue using it for many years to come. Whatever your fancy you'll find a book you like or maybe even a series of books. I would personally recommend The Masquerade series, Fledgling Realm series or for one offs their is Iron heart, Metahuman Inc and It's killing time.

One of my favourite childhood memories! A ton of excellent stories. The original ones that I played way back in the day, (pretty much all the free ones) are amazing, especially Creatures Such As We. The ui is a little dated, has some weird spots with modern phones, like a white bar at the bottom of the screen, but that's all okay. Some stories are also not worth the pricing, and pricing can be all over the place.

Love the stories, but the app is horrible. I'm having to go through ten chapters of a book I was very into for the third time, first because the errors got so numerous that I had to try to reinstall the app, then it deleted my data, then once again because of a single wrong choice which effected the entirety of the story. No response from support, books aren't available offline, and I still have the million and one error messages, there may even be more than before.
