I've never used an app before that actively fights against you, but I guess there's a first time for everything. It's tough to log in initially because the app blocks your sign-in attempts, even after verifying that "Yes, I am the account holder". You can't search for pets, because the app crashes every time. You can't follow any links to the app, because the app either crashes or ignores the link altogether. You can view the Home screen, your Favorites, and your Account - that's about it.

Honestly, the mobile website works much better than the app does. If I tap on the search bar at all, the app crashes and closes every time. Adjusting distance doesn't do anything either. I set it to within 100 miles of where I live and then it shows dogs from California, when I live in Alabama. Location enabled in both phone settings and app settings and it still says "location not enabled." Needs a lot of work.

I love this app and I will rate this again once it's fixed. But every time I click the search bar it just takes me out of the app and closes it. The app has a bug. Also I clicked on other things without using the search bar, but I clicked use location and it says that I didn't give permission but I did give permission for my location. I even checked in settings. Also another thing to improve on is when you find one dog breed mixed with another dog breed you can only click on the first one and yo

The app crashes every time i tap on the search bar and current location doesn't work and claims i need to give the app permission to use my location even though i already have location permissions on. The map doesn't load when i try to do custom distance in the filters. I like the app but these bugs need fixing. I already tried clearing cache and uninstalling and reinstalling.

Worst pet adoption app! I entered in my email address and it gives you literally 10 SECONDS to verify my email address. By the time I get to my email and open it, the time to confirm it has expired 😠 When it did finally register (somehow), it won't even let me log in. It just buffers forever. What a stupid, frustrating and, therefore, pointless app. I'm uninstalling it immediately. 👎

I love the idea and I feel like it's very useful but the app is unusable! I turn on location sirvices and it keeps on telling me that I don't have them on then I try to fix the issue but then ot begins closing the app over and over again every time I open it after a few mins This is not an issue with petfinder ive used the site fine this is an issue with there app

love this app! however the most recent update makes it crash anytime I tap the search bar, which prevents me from looking at any pets. it only crashes if I specifically tap search from the home menu. if I tap an old saved search and then tap the search bar from that screen, it doesn't crash.

Less adaptive than the website, unable to enter the same filters as the website, and wastes my time by having to wade through some genuinely wonderful dogs until I read in their Bios that they wont do well with my cats or child. If it had the ability to filter searches properly, I would use it. Until then, I will have to deal with the website even though it is clunky to use on a mobile device
