After three seasons, you'll notice undrafted players dominating the awards, reaching a 100 OVR in their rookie year. This makes it nearly impossible to stay competitive unless you're willing to spend money. It's also challenging to win when you can't draft quality players due to them not having your coordinator's playstyle. Make it free to restyle and reposition the players so that the game will become better and more enjoyable.

Update: coach mode game sim still has the opponent score almost every time inside of 2 minutes in each half, sometimes twice. The financials in Coach are different from GM. I agree with other reviews - used to love the game but now it's frustrating. Update: please fix the Coach Mode sim play. It's a nice addition, but if the opponent has the ball after the two minute warning they WILL score and it's ridiculous. Previously: Decent GM sim but it looks like you have to pay to advance past rookie.

Horrible new version, bring back old version. Motivation is worthless, can't trade draft picks, today's NFL you can win games with lower rating but in this app you loose every game even when rating better. What's the point of rookie difficulty when you run out of money or loose every year? Rookie used to let you have fun n dominate. Bring back old version!

I usually love this game and its depth. But im mad right now i just lost the champ game for no reason. Team got into field goal range with 2 time outs left and 40 seconds left and the next play the game was just over. No explanation. No missed kick, no fumble. No play at all. It just ended. Im pissed about that. Add in how the depth chart is confusing to move players around and the franchise legends tab being so strict that they have to play every season with your team, im upset.

Used to be great but they removed the ability to change the difficulty of the game for some reason. Things like reduced value for players on rookie contracts are ridiculous, and incredibly hard. The devs removing your ability to balance the game how you'd like, is due to nothing but greed, which is a what seems to drive all their needless and regressive updates.

Deleting first review and writing a new one. Game has great potential but any difficulty above the easiest is pointless. Have yet to get a 6 win season despite trying multiple different strategies. The closest I got, I needed to beat a winless team that I was rated above and I got blown out by 2 scores. Cool, such fun. Sure, you can PAY to improve your team, and I'm sure that's what they are hoping for. There's other examples but only so much you can get into in 500 characters.

Loved this game for a few years. Bought premium on each phone I've had, but for some reason as of a week or 2 ago you can't choose a game mode. It only says continue game, new, or load but when you make a new one you can adjust the cap or anything since there's no option to change it out of coach mode. When it's fixed I'll gladly give it 5 stars!

Hilariously bad... was just fired after hitting seasonal goal, received job offee from the same team (which I accepted), only to find out that all the players/coaches were switched despite being under contract. You can waste so much time playing this game, setting up your team to match the coaches schemes and still lose for seasons on end. Definitely even more of a pay to win than when I initially played years ago, don't bother downloading.
