Adding my voices to those referring to it as garbage. Won't even allow me to register with email/phone combination despite neither of them having been registered before. Does not provide any guidance or help, just prompts for information, displays a user agreement, and then rejects you. Horrible UX/UI. I have the luxury of doing a business meeting virtually vs. using this crapware for building (elevator) access. Sadly, others may not.

This app is a waste of time. 1st problem, Kastle setup instructions are wrong.. 2nd, app is VERY slow to recognize that a device is in range and unlock/open a door/gate. On average, I spent 3 extra seconds over using my badge. 3rd, app is only reliable when it operates in the foreground and you tap the tile to open a door/gate. Bottom line, save yourself a lot of headaches and just use your badge.

Only works sometimes. If you enter your work schedule, it doesn't turn off outside of those hours and it just drains your battery until you exit. BUT, first thing in the morning it turns itself on UNTILL my designated start time when I get to work and I have to turn the program on again Buggy as hell!!! My badge still works much better. Until it is fixed, not worth the battery drain!

Requires too many permissions. It should not need location if it uses Bluetooth as your building pass. I'm not willing to turn location services on and off each workday. Unlike the iPhone version, this permission can't be granted only when the app is in use. In addition to location, it also asks for access to your photos, media, and phone. None of these are needed for it's one use of granting access to a building.

This app seems to have only gotten worse over the 8 months I've been employed with my office and forced to use it. The app activation timing feature is absolutely useless and does not work. I always have to manually turn on the app to get into my office in the morning and force close it when my shift ends, otherwise the push notification persists until the next day. Incredibly inconvenient as I come from working out in the morning and have to fumble for my phone amongst all my bags. Seriously, get the app activation timing to work and get rid of the push notification, or at least have an option to turn it off. This app is trash.

The notifications are stupid. "Kastle is running" every 30 seconds. This app is awful, and the permissions? Gross. And you should allow us to turn the bloody thing on and off. Overall, stupid obtrusive. I'm going back to my card key the first moment I can.

Basically the app works to open doors but that's about it. Otherwise it's poorly designed and broken in many ways. For example, the setting to turn the app on and off in the background at set times just doesn't work. The app turns on at random times and doesn't seem to turn off...
