The people at the check-in counter told us to get paper boarding passes. Why? Because it takes forever for the mobile boarding pass to load (even though it was supposedly saved for offline usage) Also, couldn't check in using the mobile app, ended up doing it thru the webapp where different questions were asked.

One of the basic functions you want from an airline app is the mobile boarding pass. The QR in the app is too small, and there is no option to zoom them. For me, the scanning didn't work at bag drop and at the gate. The airline staff asked me to take a screenshot and rescan.

flew many times and used different airlines but on CX flight captured my heart haha..been a member since 2003, not to mention my flights prior this year that I am not yet a member. I became silver member and enjoyed all benefits. Access to lounges, upgrade to business class, free rebooking, free flights and many more. Just pandemic hit that I may not be able to travel and my membership turns to GREEN. thanks Cathay for the wonderful experience soon after 5yrs will be on board ❤

Cathay Pacific never got me disappointed. Even though a lil bit pricey, the overall experience is excellent in service and great selection of food.

Checking in through this app is possibly the most disappointing experience ever. The app clearly confirmed my seat after I inputed my desired seat. However, it turned out that my actual seat was 30 seats behind!!! It was such a huge disappointment for one of the largest flight companies in the world.

Seriously would've given a negative star review if I could. Won't send me the verification sms to sign up. Won't let me sign in on the app after I signed up on web version instead. Won't let me add my booking. Finally it just completely crashed. Now I can't even get the app to start, it just automatically shuts down after showing the loading screen for a few seconds. Reinstall a few times but same results. Used to fly with Cathay 10+yrs ago and kinda regret choosing to fly with them again now.
