I like this alarm. This Anchor alarm is only as good as the signal it receives. Highly recommend using this app on land first to get familiar with it. Set it walk around and watch how it works. It has settings that need to be learned. While nothing replaces a person on watch it is great for an anchor watch that nods off. A very good back up alert but not an anchor fix all.

Do tracking points reset after a time? Woke up in the middle of the night and there were no tracking points so couldn't trust if my settings were right. I was anchored close to a shoal and important to know where I was. Also, after connecting to another phone, it worked great aboard on both phones. We left the main phone on board. We made sure the main phone was left behine. A mile and a half out in the dinghy we get an alarm we're 6500ft away. When we got back the main phone was fine.

When adjusting subarea angle and size, ideally the anchor location should stay in the same place. Cannot adjust anchor radius and position on remote control mode. Great support, questions are answered in no time, and always tried to solve issues I found.

Tried it, paid for it to connect to my other phone, it worked for the first 10 min but during the night it stopped working. I opened the app in the morning and everything was reset like I never used it. Bad app, dangerous...

Very impressive support! My reported bug was fixed within 48 hours!-------------Works well, but for some reason the anchor position displays East longitude instead of West. The actual value is correct and the cursor keys change the value correctly but it should show "W" not "E". Otherwise it would be 5*.----------

Could be nice but has some annoying quirks: 1. sets the anchor before it has acquired the GPS position, so first thing the alarm goes off, 2. continues to run even when paused - so it cannot be paused, 3. the menu for fine-tuning the alarm obscures the map display even in landscape mode - this would work much better side by side.

Initial testing looks very promising. An improvement i suggest is 1. To locate the distance of the radius displayed on the map perhaps above the center as the direction line cuts through the digit and you can't read what it is. 2. Before turning in for the night, I like to test the alarm works. When I manually shift the center to check the alarm it is only visual, I do not get audible alarm when manually shifting the alarm radius for test. But it seems exactly what I want. Easy and simple.
