Wifi connection no longer works though blutooth and remotes will still activate the gates. Unable to reconnect with wifi, the controller "sees" the router via the app but constantly times out after trying to log on. Signal strength is fine, even tried using a hotspot right at the controller to no avail. Our installer replaced the wifi controller and were unable to get the new unit to connect either. We purchased the system in order to be able to control the gates remotely.

This app does not do what it claims. It works when my Android phone is connected to WiFi on my LAN but will not work now from the internet or WAN but it has in the past? I want to use my phone to be able to check on gate status when away from home. I no longer get push messages when gate opens and closes. I had google assistant working but not Amazon Alexa. It has great potential if it just worked as advertised. Updated 30/3/22 After the latest update of eyeopen, I got push messages back, was able to use from WAN & LAN but still sometime had to make sure the app was closed before it would work but at least it's a few steps in the right direction. One small observation with push messages. The push message says Sliding Gate The door has been opened (or closed depending on situation) Why is it calling it a DOOR when it's a SLIDING GATE? This is small but it show lack of attention to detail in code.

It works but it often takes a while to connect and says connection busy. But once it connects it functions fine. Although the app is supposed to be compatible with Google Home, I have not been able to get it to work. When attempting to sync with Google it says that there are no devices connected to EyeOpen.... I wish this problem could be fixed.

Initial set up new Eyeopen takes forever, countless times to get it connected to home WiFi. I've entered correct WiFi name and password. WiFi signal shows excellent. Still it seems impossible to get app connected to WiFi. Once clicked, a pop-up window is showing Connecting count-down of 60seconds and after 60 seconds, it's still not connected and go back to previous screen to start 60secs connecting count. would be great if you could help provide a fix with next update as soon as possible.

When it works, it's fantastic. Too unreliable & has let us down too often innvarious ways - now ordering extra remotes now to be able to get in & let our visitors in :( With some pain, we fully re-set the system at the gate for new pin codes & uninstalled, re-installed app. Worked for a day now getting connection fail.

Never work and pathetic customer support! I can see my gate opener in the app but the app never let me to connect to it! I have tried resetting the WiFi box many times! What the hell is the connection status 1005!

App takes forever to connect sometimes over WiFi and Bluetooth. After repeatedly opening and closing the app SOMETIMES it ends up working. Something is definitely wrong with the app connecting. Also setting up the app to connect to my WiFi network took long as well.

This app constantly stops and notifies no wifi access. It wont allow normal network access outside of home wifi range rendering it virtually useless . no response from support regarding a solution waste of time lucky I have a remote.
