Many years ago when I bought this app I would have given 5 stars. It's changed so much that I can hardly use it now. Can't even find a basic crop tool for imported photos. The whole app has been dumb down for people who only have a 5 second attention span. There was a wide range of add on filters and stickers we could download. Don't see those on playstore anymore. Give us paid customers the option to download the original app. That's what I'd like to see cause that's what we paid for.

This was the premier camera/photo editing app for the first part of the 2010's.... As fast as this app was updated to keep up with the hardware updates from manufacturers, it's now very outdated. It also was one of the more expensive apps as well... One day it may earn 5 stars again, but the experience is too irritating.

The best Android camera for creating artistic effects from seemingly ordinary subjects. I have tried many camera apps but always come back to Vignette to be inspired. I often take many shots of the same subject using random filter mode - just for the wide shot modes, this is worth the price.

Sonic Vision

I've been looking for replacement of my beloved, sadly discontinued, Urbian Retro Camera. This isn't exactly that but this is a great, underrated app, better than the many other current apps I tried. It would be nice to be able to rotate image freely/any angle, and to be able to zoom in on images when editing. Dust, scratches addition and control, as well as position control of leaks, vignettes etc, would be nice in addition to the many options currently under the hood. VERY GOOD!

I bought this expensive app primarily because it allowed me to save my Sony Xperia T snaps at their full 13mp. Once you get over that feature, just using the app is a very fiddly business. It seems impossible to just take pics and save them without having to choose to save, apply filters or delete. I had hoped that this app would work quicker than the stock Sony app but unfortunately with this smartphone it doesn't. Another gripe is that they didn't reply to my support question.

There were some issues that cropped up after the latest update, but contacted the developers who were very keen to help resolve them. Now I'm very pleased to say that it's back working properly again. Vignette is a superb app that I often use, especially the Diana option which provides a nice Lomography effect. Thanks for sorting this guys.

Had to write a review, don't know why I've never got around to it. I've used this app for years and Vignette must be the most overlooked photo app for Android out there. Its simply the best for filters, sure it hasn't got the quantity that some of the newer apps have but it does what it does so much better and uses your original camera resolution too. Not found a better Ilford filter anywhere. No ads and doesn't try and milk every penny out of you. Download it, you won't regret it.

EDIT 2024: Back to its best. There was a UI update a while back which made it unusable, but I thought I'd give it a go as it was the best camera app previously. Thankfully that UI problem has been solved and it's back to being a great little app. Set your favourite filters and there's no fiddling
