This is a must-have app for german learners. It works offline which is a huge plus. Also it embeds itself into the context menus so you can look up words from other apps. A minor annoyance is, when it is opened up from the context menu, you can't switch back to the main one, because it goes all black, needed to be restarted.

a bit poor but all dictonary apps seem to be. still would pay every year if it would all work. need good and easy manageable vicabulary list. i read smth i search i save it to voclist for later study. if that gets more easy i pay every year also make it easier to access own account getting locked out for entering wrong... to high security standards ? anyway thanks for the app

I have been using the application ever since I went to school and for me it has probably been the most helpful tool when learning English. Now that I am studying Italian and French, I am slightly disappointed by the poor selection of vocab the app offers. Especially in Italian it can be frustrating, maybe you could the option to let users add vocab themselves, like a language wiki? I would support that. Other than that, definitely a great app and certainly worth the annual 2-3 euros for +version

I subscriped for a year and would love if the developer improves the quiz game a little bit. Because so far it seems randomly generated, perhaps a better approach is to quiz the most freuqent words in the spoken language. If it were me i would generate a level for each user based on their researches, and based on that, the level of the quiz game is adjusted. Also if the owner sees this, i have a great selling idea to filling a market need. Teaser -> learning the buisness specific language

Version 7.0 works fine for me. I don't like to download a new vocabulary database only because the developer doesn't care to make the newer app versions compatible with the older databases. - Apart from that it is the best English - German Dictionary I know. Thanks - - The storage settings of the App stops at the main storage, and completely refuse to be led to the place where the vocabulary database of a previous version has been placed by its App. I initially installed it on a new Android 7.0.

It would be nice if the pronunciation feature was only activated by directly tapping that button instead of also on the translated words. It's quite embarrassing when it plays in public, and it's incredibly easy to accidentally tap the word while scrolling. The shame is that the app is otherwise uncomplicated and great for translations on the go.

Great app, especially for offline use! It finds a lot (almost all) of the searched for words. Constant and reliable partner when traveling, because you can download the language packages and search for/translate words offline :). If you have internet access, you can also listen to the pronunciation, which can be helpful. Thank you for always improving the app. I hope you never stop, because it's one of my favorites. :)

The app is perfect. There's always a room for wishing something different, but the software is developed in a very consistent, logical and user-friendly way. Also downloads for offline use run flawless. Additional bonus is the audio support. Every aspect of the app brings joy and satisfaction. Many thanks to the developer!
