Update 2025-01-02 Been using it for years Now it tells me I have too many projects and I need to pay. Free option has been limited to nigh-impossible use No more for me The tracking is great. Several projects with different tasks is no problem at all. The export however is different. Who doesn't have software, will get lines in Excel for each entry. But not neatly in different cells but one line in one cell. Makes it difficult to get it in nice shape. @answer: Thanks! I found it.

There's a rewrite and what feels like a completely new interface. Probably, if you haven't used the old interface you might love the new one. As a user since eight years, the new interface has a nice addition in one area but one glaring omission in the main time recording part, something I visually used that is now replaced with a list that no longer visually informs. Previously: Does what it should without any complicated stuff you don't need. Reporting could be a bit better for my needs.

A Google user

I used to love this app, but since their last update (or since last time I updated at least; I might have been a few versions behind) the app takes a significant time to launch. It is not very long, but given how often I go to the app on the course of the day, these sometimes 10 seconds or so accumulate to quite a lot of time. I can't say I saw any new features that made a difference for me, but optimization was neglected. A tracker, like a good waiter, should always be present but invisible.

Very powerful and reliable. Can be used without any cloud sync, can backup to and restore from internal storage. Downsides: The clock-style 24h time selector in the refreshed UI is annoying (you can blame that on Google's UI toolkit though). Also the app icon is hard to distinguish from the clock app on Google Pixel.

Easy to use, flexible and fast. I've been using Time Tracker for round about 5 years now without having any issues. The developers respond to emails quickly and even implement feature requests ;) With the automatic backup feature there is no need to worry if your phone breaks down, simply restore your backup on your new phone.

The update paywalled features that have been free for many years. I don't care about the handful of new things added. I do care that the number of time entries and tasks was unlimited and now it's a max of 10 tasks and it's completely unusable until I delete my time entries to fewer than 1000. If your updates are so fabulous to justify a monthly fee (not a one-time fee) why do you need to take away core functions? Why aren't the old version's features free? It was excellent. Now it's insulting.

DON'T USE THIS APP!!! I've been happily using Gleeo for years. But I woke up today and lost ALL my data. I tried installing backups, but nothing is working. I went to their website, and there's NO customer service option for getting help with a problem. Obviously, I'll start using another app, but that won't replace the data I lost.

Phrosnite

Nice and easy way to keep track of your activities each day. As of the start of 2025 my free version is limited to 1k time entries and only 10 tasks. It seems I had unlimited entries and tasks until now for being a 2016 user... For a long time now I've been using it to track only my gaming time so I'm ok (I guess) with the limit.
