I got an SMS message from AIS that said I needed to update my profile with my passport photo, so I took a picture of my passport and sent it to the link that AIS provided. I got an error that the network doesn't support multimedia messages. I was on the AIS network. Nice. So I tried the option in the app to update my profile... tried for over an hour. It wouldn't take my photo. It just kept saying "Change the environment," then it would time out. This app is garbage. AIS is garbage.

The new version is terrible. They have had 5 version changes in a month and they still can't get it right. The new version is intended for Android 10+ but it won't run on my tablet. The old version does. As for the app being used to promote AIS, it is worthless, especially if you don't live in Bangkok. The LINE stickers are only in Thai so unless you are fluent in Thai they aren't worth anything. The Food, etc should have a map to show where the merchants are located.

Terrible new verson of the app. Even though I chose English as the language, many of the subgroups were in Thai. The silly graphics really slow it down even though my phone has 12 GB ram. So much advertising that I couldn't find the utilities. I was looking for roaming packages and found none. Then, after deleting and reinstalling the app, I found it easily, still very buggy.

In order to use the app it forces you to turn in location access if you want to do anything such as pay your bill. Click "no thanks" than it keeps popping up instantly so it prevents you from using the site. This is terrible! Why do you need my location in order to pay my bill or use the app?! Even Google Maps doesn't force you to enable location in order to use the allocation. AIS is not to be trusted!

EDIT Nov 29 2023: received update that is allowing app to open with Dev Options enabled. Not sure if it matters that I logged into app with Dev Options off first, but it's working now. After the Nov 2023 update, my app will no longer open. During the splash screen, a message pops up on the bottom saying "REF: 5385:EA67 Device Developer Options Detected by App" and it immediately closes.

Most of the time , it is easy to use and very useful, but right now, I've been having some errors. When loading, it stops exactly at 75.6% for like a minute, and when it continues, it keeps showing " Have some hiccup while loading your data, refresh," and I pressed the refresh button but it just nothing. It's not moving forward. I've been using AIS since the day I arrived in Thailand, and it never had any issues. I really hope you can fix this.

I'm a new user, so can't speak to the updates, but this is the slowest, buggiest app I've ever used. Requires OTPs for everything, and once you return to the app to input the OTP, it returns to the home screen, so you can't complete the transaction. Very frustrating. Also, not at all intuitive. As to those saying the update is an improvement, I shudder to think what it was like before.

Took a long time to load their marketing banner. You view bills, you have to wait for OTP for each bill. The latest one doesn't support older version of Android. if your phone has bootloader unlocked, even without root, it won't let you open the app. AIS really makes it hard for their subscribers to use their services.
