I have not had any problems. I have used it dozens of times so far. And found some good eateries because of app, and I purchase food at these eateries at regular price separately from app, as well as saving money from meals through the app. It works well. I get a surprise, and adventure for me, save money, and save food from being wasted. I look forward to using the Too Good To Go app.

The service is great, the app needs some tweaks. It should allow you to modify a review. We should be able to put an entire restaurant as our favorite not only a bag. Really wish we could customize the notification/alert sound. Also, we need to be able to hide certain restaurants, there are way too many Tim Hortons per square inch.

During some time, I thought about trying to order and finally decided to try. It was the worst application experience I've ever had. They sent 100500 notifications daily, but when it came to notify about my order, they were silent as a grave. Of cause I missed my time for pick up because I could even think that after tones of useless notifications (all were enabled), they didn't send the one, which was really important. Instead, it just sent me silently an email, which I didn't even notice.

It's actually a really good deal! you get to discover new restaurants in your area at home or when you go out town. Some restaurant "deals" are hit or miss OR they have meal pick ups really late at night, but there are pros and cons with everything. Overall, you'll get good food 7,8 times out of 10. Just pay attention to what comes in the surprise bag description. Also check out the Google reviews for the restaurants people will definitely go in depth of the meal deal is good or not 👍🏾

I really enjoyed the process. First of all, it's an incentive to try out new food places and they get to clear out end of batch or end of night inventory. I didn't fully understand the process at first. I thought I'd get treated as a broke a$$ but it's nothing like that. The value was significant. The ordering process is quick. The pickup was organized. App font needs to be larger. Hard to read in some conditions. Don't be the idiot that shows up late demanding your food. Just don't.

This app is a great idea to reduce food waste while supporting local businesses and exploring different tastes. Prices are very reasonable--most surprise bags are about $5-10 and you get a variety of food. There is a compromise though. Some places require you to pick up your order within the close of business or in between shifts. The other major con is that there is not a lot of participating places yet depending on your area.

Even though I got the code for the order to pick up at Subway, they didn't allow me to pick it up. At then, the time window ended before my girlfriend could come from work to get the order. Effectively stealing money from me. The problem isn't the money at all. It's the inefficient system. I had to create a whole new google account in Germany to be able to download the app, lost time and money. This experience pissed me off so much that I'll never use, nor recommend this app again.

I love the TGTG concept, but the app needs improving. Favorites, alerts, etc. don't really work at all, so it's total luck to catch something you want to grab. More details about tricky pickup situations would be good. I missed out on an order because the restaurant was hidden on the second floor of an office building.
