Fantastic app. I've several widgets for different time zones on my home screen. They all keep perfect time. The background can be made transparent to enjoy the homescreen photo. Fully configurable for headings, fonts etc If it doesn't update time for you, it's probably because battery optimisation is stopping the clock from running in the background.

Great idea, but it's buggy. The concept of showing multiple clocks from different time zones is awesome, but it keeps getting stuck. The date and time doesn't always update. I've been late on a few things because I was using the time displayed on the widget, but it was actually frozen. It got worse today. Now, it shows Sunday, May 2020 as the 7th. It's supposed to be the 10th.

For a free world clock widget, it works well. No permissions, no ads. I was able to find Wellington New Zealand easily. Another world clock app didn't even have Wellington listed as an option. You don't just set up one widget with different clocks. You create a new widget for each world city. Depending on the size of fonts you choose, you can place more or fewer widgets on a screen. I would like to see a larger font for the date and am/pm though. It's much smaller than the time, and city name.

This app works nicely, just as described, but it doesn't have all countries! A family member is traveling in Kyrgyzstan, and I wanted to use the app to see what time it is there, but it is not a listed country in the options. Otherwise, it is simple, attractive, and easy to use. But unfortunately, not useful to me without a full list of countries.

Overall, it is a great widget. It keeps me up to date with the time zone my boyfriend is in since we are in a long distance relationship. However, I have noticed that recently it has been displaying the wrong time. It hasn't been keeping up to date and it is pretty irritating. For it to update, I need to delete the widget off my screen and place it back for it to update. Please may you fix this.

well... it looks good. the problem is that this app is designed for the person that calls other regions but does not travel to them. i call India, Thailand, Turkey, and Bangladesh but i also travel there. As soon as my clock adjusts to local regional time, all the world clocks adjust from that relative point as if the new local time is the U.S. local time. Wish there was an option to select "home" time zone and it was static. edit: also, returned from travel and the clock does not update.

Been using this app off and on for years and had no problems until recently. Something is keeping clock widgets from updating properly. I have disabled battery optimization and all the other options to put apps to sleep and clock widgets still won't update. This goes for all clock widgets (except the stock clock app), not just Simple World Clock Widget. I will research this and report my findings and hopefully a solution. Don't blame the app devs. It's your device that's breaking it. 👍

THIS IS THE ONE AND ONLY CLOCK APP YOU NEED. You can actually customize nearly everything in there from the widget font size , colour and transparency. And you can even RENAME the widget whatever you like. Lacks certain cities but once you know the time zone you're all set. Writing this review to remind myself not to get any other apps. And did I mention no ads??? 😄 Functional, minimalist and beautiful widget!
