Haven't tried the controls, but the camera stuff works. Eventually, I realized that there are more instructions if you swipe on that screen, which at least show what the icons mean. To access photos and videos, you click on the 4th icon from the left on the "Play" screen. Sort of a play button with an arrow circling around it. From there you can move them to more normal places on your phone.

There are few instructions for use with WiFi. I thought I needed to be connected to a WiFi network to run it. Nope. Connect to your drone WiFi signal. There is no mfg named on the Harbor Freight done box. It burns the battery up pretty quick with all that WiFi transmitting and flying. I couldn't fly with the app. Try SBJ idea. Nope. Later: I just read "For camera use Helicute, etc." Maybe it doesn't even try to fly a drone? Won't fly harbor freight High Performance Drone. Takes pictures ok.

I read all the reviews and was disappointed but I went thru the steps and waited to be upset but everything went just fine I turned the mobil data off like one reviewer said and everything is fine it's takin awhile but I'm now flying it around the yard and up and down the street. Only taken a few pics cause I'm too busy flying, besides I have a camera that doesn't fly but takes great pictures. Battery only last about 7 min but it only cost $35 and I wasn't expecting $100+ performance, have fun

Malware/ program doesn't respond clearly. And is very troublesome. Over all it nice graphics and easy to understand. If it worked... Sad but hey it's a toy with very little control or very slow if any responses. Plan on taking a long walk in any direction one up. It's hit and miss on the control with or without the app. It's fun even with the problems.

The drone is pretty fun to fly but could not get it to connect to my phone and the battery does not hold a charge for more then 5 or 6 minutes after charging for a couple of hours. If it had a better battery it would be a fun drone to fly around

It looks junky, but it works. If it won't work on your phone, disable your mobile data while using it. That fixed it for me. It's a problem caused by Android, the developer is not at fault for the issue of it not working.
A Google user
I'm using this on the sky walker high performance quadcopter H823HW VGA model. I can connect but cant fly it via the app. I can see the video and take photos and record via the app but have to fly via the remote control. Have asked the programmer about it but no reply. App is useless.

Works extremely well for the price. Better then perfect for a first time drone. Just get a SanDisk micro SD with it not expensive but you definitely thank me
