Slow and nearly useless. Device and module are also pretty useless. It wants to be near router for a stable connection, understandable. When you have full signal for both device and module, I expect it to work. I got "Camera is busy" most times when it did have a connection. I just wanted a doorbell with video, and it doesn't even do that well. App doesn't state what range the devices need to be at, had to find it outside of app. Will be going with a different manufacturer and app.

Update 11/2. Not sure what you have done. But thumbnails don't refresh. Can'update activity zones. Not all Clips are captured ( I see the blue light, hear the click, but nothing shows in the app) Clips are super lagged vs previous. And seriously, the new app format (per below) sucks. I expect more from Amazon. Why do you keep making this app worse? For the love of God simplify not complicate! Deleting a clip. Seeing a clip. Eveything is more complex and time consuming!

Two stars cuz it used to work okay. Bought a 2 camera system about three years ago and stuck with it after my trial subscription. Was everything and then some that I could expect from a system of this price range. Sadly whomever is doing their software maintenance and upgrades has lost their touch or has taken up day drinking, quality and security of the system is very questionable to me as this system gets worse and worse over time. Time to look elsewhere as my subscription is up in January

Motion detection notifications come well past the time they were triggered. Not very cool if you need to call the police because of a break in. I don't know why there is a delay. You'd think Amazon would have the infrastructure for such notifications to be nearly instantaneous. And it's not because of my Internet connection. This happens on WiFi as well as mobile data.

Not sure if it's an app issue or camera issue. Worked very well the first 2 days. Then stopped detecting motion. Bought it to keep an eye on the trash - dog buffet - and it couldn't be bothered to detect motion at all for over 8 hours. Very disappointed. Glad this happened during the free trial, won't be purchasing.

One star until my defective sync module is REPLACED. defective out of the box. Straight trash. I have 2 cameras that work great. So I purchased the doorbell/sync module bundle. Doorbell connected first try. Sync module had me in a loop of resetting and power cycling. Wasted half my day. Going to contact them to see about a replacement. Will update the rating accordingly.

Updated, back to one star. You can only delete all or one locally stored clip at a time, no multi-select. Transitioning between home/live and clips is horrible and "system is busy" messages are frequent disruptions leading to having to close and reopen. There is no excuse for not providing mass selective delete from local storage. If you want people to use your cloud storage, take your cloud storage benefits up a notch rather than placing barriers on local storage.

Audio issues in app and no free storage. Audio won't play through Bluetooth headphones or earbuds. Even as all other phone media plays through headphones perfectly fine, when viewing live camera, the audio only plays through the phone speaker. I do not experience this issue while using iPhone/ipad, only seems to be with this Motorola android. No free local storage is a letdown, as well as the limited time allowed for live view. Will invest elsewhere for future home security purchases. Waste.
