Needs more colors..emojis..and it won't let me connect to music either... the background we should also be able to change. Trying to do the graffiti option is even worse... lol for someone like me who cannot draw to save a life. lol maybe also add an option to scroll from one saying to another I mean, in all honesty, let us use our own emojis. Not everyone is Caucasian as you only have that as an option.... maybe a font change option,too.... I have too many ideas & I'm going to leave it at that

Plenty of preset animations to choose from, which is great, but every time the app updates, it corrupts and messes up all my custom animations I've made, making them all useless and broken. It's very frustrating to have to remake my library of custom animations every time, especially when considering that the animation tools are very rudimentary and kinda complicated to use. It would be nice to have the ability to import custom animations from a gif file or something similar.

The interface for creating custom animations no longer works on a Pixel 7a. The "Save" button renders off screen completely and the check button at the top right is mostly off screen and can't be checked. Frustratingly the app will let you work on dozens of frames only to not let you save. You have to pick from what's there. I wish there was a desktop app so you could create animations or at least share/upload ones from the community. This makes the app seem like it lacks 80% functionality.

Cynical “CynicalDriver”

App does what I need it to and doesn't cause me issues when working with my sign. Well done. It would be nice if we could customize the color of the border more... Maybe add one that allows you to set a single color for the border and toggle the line breaks and motion effects separate from the colors.

The app does work but still need some refinement. You can't import designs as it says. Wish there was a way to extend the display from one to two of them instead of it copying each other. I also with the make your own animation was more friendly or again make make it where we can import from a computer program.

I give up. I gave it nearly a year waiting for updates to correct the incessant issues. The app is just flatly terrible. Incompatible with Android, at least in the western hemisphere, connectivity trash, cannot connect with a Google Pixel 8 Pro. Developer technical incompetence and simply poor design. Extremely primitive animation capabilities with totally broken import/export functions. Tremendous waste of time and effort.

Games And Trivia Entertainment

The update has stopped crashing from hitting + button! Thank you for the fix. 1) Still don't see a folder that stores your animations OUTSIDE of the app. 2) I'm currently in communication with support, but the import animation process doesn't work at all. The instructions are not helpful and the coolLED app is not listed as an option for opening the "jt" files. It keeps saying the format is invalid. If the company provides a fix, I'll update the review

Giving it 5 stars because the app does what it should and the light looks great. I do wish 2 things - that I could draw the graffiti on a computer and upload it as it's way too tiny for my big fingers to draw on a phone, and I wish I could make the graffiti and/or automation play in a sequence (or if that ability is there I can't figure it out)
