I really like my Mill Oil Radiator, but this app leaves much to be desired. There are several issues with it. To start with - WiFi configuration should be fixed. When I tried configuring WiFi, the app said that the heater's WiFi configuration had failed; however, the heater was clearly connected to my home WiFi. I use Google WiFi, and it showed up in the Google WiFi app. For some odd reason, removing the app from my phone and installing it again magically allowed the heater to appear in the app. Note that I didn't have to reset the heater's WiFi configuration - so obviously there was some communication glitch between the app and Mill's servers the first go around. Second, in many instances, fonts are too small to be read clearly, and menu organization logic differs somewhat between screens. Third, and most importantly, it is very difficult (tedious almost) to create a program. Using sliders on a small hand-held device is ludicrous - and for heaven's sake, why can't the program for one day be copied over to the next day? Please fix the app - use stylistic guidelines from something like ecobee's app to fix issues with the Mill Heat app. Right now, the app detracts from the heater.

I am unable to set the temperature levels on any of the levels (Comfort etc) in the app.. They always are set at 0 degrees Celsius and I can't use the slider to change them, just shows a spinning animation for a second and doesnt change a thing.. I have to set it to a constant temperature now, or it (the heater) doesn't do a thing

Pretty bad, first it disconnects my heater and wants a update, ok fine. Then the new app is almost unusable, the time programme feature is just plain bad UI, after spending 10 minutes trying to figure out how it actually works, I cannot save a y changes without it giving a "please fill all time slots" error (they are all filled in) please can I have the old app back as this just does not work.

Mostly works well, but has one very annoying bug: It keeps adjusting the temperature for some of my programs on its own, so every few days I have to fix them. Always the same programs, always the same setting going down by 1°C. Other than that, I have no complaints. Edit: I miss the time my devices still showed up in the app. Which still works mostly well, independently of the heaters it's supposed to control. Edit, 2024: All my heaters are gone, and can't seem to reconnect. Avoid this bs.

This is possibly the most frustrating 'smart' app/heating system in the history of such systems. I feel sorry for the people who fall into the trap of buying into this. The heaters disconnect often and have to be reconnected. In particular, this happens without warning, when mill think its time for and upgrade, or 'conveniently' when the weather starts to turn cold, right when you might need a heater. Also be prepared that mill will make your 'generation' of heaters or plugs redundant.

Nice looking timer with Okay in design and function, but what's the point? - No google home integration; no presence sensor, have had to reconnect my device, when you have started the connecting a new device and you have get a firmware update while connecting, it will force you reconnect. I find these kind apps quite annoying, anyone with smarthome needs more integration than with mills heating device's. If I could have gotten my money back, I would! Not because the device itself, but integratio

Their devices don't work if the wifi signal is unreliable. If only the devices had some internal storage that stored the schedules, syncing whenever connection is restored. Instead even after setting the temperature manually on the heater, it seems to reset to 10.5°C after some time for reasons unknown.

Very Bad Experience. All my heater connections have been lost because the Mill main servers went down and now I'm left trying to sort the mess out. Constant connection problems, I've given up on trying to connect one heater that cost me over £200 as it's never connected properly. I spent nearly £1,000 on heaters from this company which has been a total waste of money.
