It's a good app in the way that there isn't another option to use for the camera I have... so I have to use it to use the camera ... app itself is very glitchy. Crashes a lot. Also sometimes doesn't show me my camera, as if I have 0 devices. lol I need to get a new camera... 2 stars.

I purchased three of these cameras, got Wi-Fi extenders to make sure my Wi-Fi was good, and they are totally useless. I get notification That there's motion detection when there's nothing there. When someone actually comes to my door, they don't pick it up . When I try to check The recordings, most of the time, they won't load and say try again later or the units say they're offline when my internet is working fine. Night vision recordings are mostly static with nothing real to see.

So far I can't connect to my new router, I made sure to have an ssid that's 2.4 ghz and older security, all my other cameras and apps switched over just fine except this one. The app says there's a power button or slider there is not, app says there'll be a beep sound after you hold the reset button, there is not. I've pulled the batteries and reinstalled the app nothing works.

Can't use playback function as it is saying SD card not detected, even though it has SD on the camera screen. Tried another card, same issue, very annoying! Had quite a few issues which were dealt with swiftly with help through email but the more issues I had the less email communication I received. No reply for the last few weeks regarding issues. My advice would be to pay the extra and purchase a legitimate Ring Doorbell, it will save you time and frustration!

I'm well impressed with this CCTV, it does the job for me, It plays up now & again like the sound sometimes takes a few seconds to come on & the video can take a few seconds to activate also, but other than that it's fine. For some reason the date & time isn't working properly though, I have to put it on Amsterdam time zone instead of London time zone, that issue needs working on! But I'm still a happy with it. The main thing is that you can catch thief's in the act of steeling your stuff. 10/10

A good app and is well matched to the product but has 3 flaws. The flaws are: needs to start up on the last settings used like HD and sound enabled. The app buttons could be switches with hold to edit so quick tap to turn features on and off and lastly the ability to turn off the doorbell ring so visitors don't hear it when they press the button. Frame rate could be better but I think that's at the camera end..

It's exactly what it is it's a very simple thing to set up only issue is there is quite a bit of lag if you use the HD so on SD it's queued up on time and also the motion detection it's horrible as far as distinguishing between people pets and inanimate objects pretty much you get notified if a leaf blows by there is no PIR additional settings which would be nice if there was other than that simple it's easy I really do wish it worked on 5 gigahertz. Not many of these security cameras do

You switch off Night Vision (infrared) which is absolutely awful by the way, it still records in Night Vision, no way of keeping it switched off as when you exit the app HD and night vision comes on again, the clarity of video at night time on a streetlamp lit road is way better than the so called night vision. Battery life is not the stated 3 months its more or less 1 week, really 6 days because it takes 24 hours to recharge. For a budget security camera it's decent but the app needs work.
