It's ok and you quickly see the photo from the negative, but the photo quality is VERY bad (heavily pixelated and grainy). The result isn't something you would probably want printed. The controls need to be improved and the app is limited to 3 days then requires purchasing to continue using it (considering the photo quality it isn't worth buying as there are USB connected negative scanners that are considerably better).

Way too many ads and a torrent of ads via notifications! Probably one of the naghiest apps ever on the PlayStore! Not recommended until further notice! And No! I don't wanna receive an answer like "Duh, just turn off notifications for this app in your phone, problem solved." That ain't helping, either!

As others described, cropping and curled negatives are a difficult to manage - a 2nd pass in an editor to crop, color. Worst part is mobile - PC interface. Many times shots show on mobile, but desktop msg is "no photos available". I gave this a 50 strip test - just to glitchy to do more. I can almost live with low quality photos, but the time it takes to redo and keep track is a deal-buster for me.

Great app. Works well to pull pictures off negatives. It would be good to be able to zoom in. My camera seemed confused by which lense to use and there were no options for controlling that in the app. Also the auto crop was sometimes way off and I had to correct the cropping for 75-80% of the pictures. So it would be nice to be able to turn that off as an option.

Doesn't work well at all. After trying several times every image comes out looking like a negative that's blurry and being held between pinched fingers. I don't recommend this app, and I find the price (a yearly subscription) to be prohibitive for something that runs locally and so poorly at that. Edit: I appreciate the response and so I'm hoping my rating to two stars for customer service. Every image I captured was blurry not pixelated. There was simply no definition.

Biggles Worth

Quite disappointing. Doesn't declare that the pics are uploaded to their "cloud" and Filmbox actually denies you access to your own pics when you want to download them and keep them, say for example in a browser on your pc. You can do it...it just costs you MONEY!!!! Quality of the capture is poor too. Looks fine on your phone... But that's it. Ok.. Update.... You can save the photos after all ... Get the pic link, and capture them there by zooming the view size....

Way, way too many ads, pop-ups, distractions to even get a sense of what it's supposed to do. How hard would it be to give a week free trial or even 50 free tries so I can see what it even does? I fought my way around all the pop-ups etc. and never got anywhere with it. The few pictures I tried had the tops cut off. After fighting it for 30 minutes, I uninstalled it.

I'll give it two stars since it seems to work for other people but the interface, the demo, the tutorials, the icons, even the sample videos/pictures, are identical to some other apps here that don't work for me so I'm not shocked to find this one fails as well. Every time I try to open a negative I already have scanned, it just plays the tutorial yet again
