Horrible UX. Constantly zooms in to where the bus isn't located and to a scale of a single block. So constantly have to zoom out manually to see a useful map. The map should auto scale to show the bus, pickup, and destination plus a 10% padding. Also notifications are flaky. It seems like the app doesn't work in the background so you must have it open for notifications to work.

Full of glitches. Very unsafe for the children and very inconvenient for parents. When the bus is in motion, the tracking of the bus shoots all these irrelevant black lines back to it's original location. It's very messy. When waiting for a bus to arrive, the map is unable to move the map screen to wherever the bus is, requiring you to drag the map in search of the bus. Many other problems. The app requires too much of the bus drivers for app accuracy, when they should be focused on the road.

Very happy with this app. Receive notifications for the bus approaching the stop, arriving at the stop, and pickup of EACH student. Bus tracking and location is spot on. Later, I get a notification that my children have arrived to their destination. Same with return trip. Thank u for a reliable, pain free app! Have seen several complaints about driver routes etc. This is not set by the bus or app company but by the school or district.

Zum has been a really reliable and safe service for our kids transportation this year. Our school's provider before they switched to Zum was unreliable and unable to address their many problems (terrible communications, lateness/no shows, mechanical issues, insufficient bus seats, etc). As the new service, Zum hasn't put one foot wrong these past 2 months. We look forward to seeing that continue.

Can't cancel ride properly Most of the times, this app is good. It shows where the driver is on real time map. But it doesn't cancel rides properly, only 1 ride (pickup/dropoff) can be cancel, and regardless how many times I clicked the other one. It just don't work. Asked help from customer service and it didn't make the cancel ride happens on my side. The app overall is okay, but need improvements of stability.

The app worked quite nicely after some updates in last school year. This year, it is all broken again. The map constantly zooms in and out when I want to see the map, there are multiple entries of the same ride, Future ride dates show up in "Completed" section and not "Upcoming". The dev should do some thorough QC prior to releasing it on the Play Store. Very frustrating experience. What Map API do you use? a lot of the time the "Current ETA" is ridiculously off...

A Google user

The app displays poorly worded error messages especially when trying to edit or make changes to a ride. Seems like a simple fix to stem confusion and avoid calls into support (which I do regularly for almost every interaction in the app). Given that this is an app for parents to feel confident about when their children are going to get picked up and dropped off, it is not instilling confidence.
