Seems a decent enough app but I have some privacy concerns. It asks for superuser/root access. Not sure why. Also asks for location permission, but I'm generally looking for sites in a particular area rather than nearby so didn't see reason to grant access to my live location. Now it pops up with a dialog each time I open the app stating location permission is required. Doesn't affect functionality, but is a bit annoying and the message that it is required is misleading.

Since the update, every time I use the app I get a message that there was a problem checking my details and to check my connection. This happens whether I am at home on WiFi or outside on 4g. When I press OK it then proceeds to download the list of sites. Every single time! Also, the booking process is just as clumsy and unhelpful as ever. It would be really useful to see which dates are available at a site rather than simply getting the "unavailable" message when trying to book

We are new members and haven't used this app yet. That being said, seems more intuitive than the website. My one major criticism is the lack of an itinerary! We have booked a number of camp sites but have no where to see the itinerary! (Other than trawling through emails). Please could this be added as a priority for your next release of this app ☺️

A good start but so much more needed to make this more useful than using the website. It needs an Itinery, so you can see what you have booked. Favourites so you can earmark certain sites you like the look. It really REALLY needs a way to see what nights are available/not available, its such a faff otherwise. For the last month it says I am not logged in and that I need an update everytime I use it. I click yes and it does nothing. Really annoying. I cant click through to open the website.

The more I try this the more I hate it. What I really want is the ability to see what nights are available to book at a site. Currently you have to try various dates and durations to try to find availability. Each time you search you have to re-enter all the details. Very time consuming and annoying. The CAMC app shows availability and is much more user friendly.

Had the same issues with both siteseeker and the app for the magazine, will not let me log in on any of the apps but the main sure isn't a problem ? We decided to join and have the magazine sent digitally, so we can find sites and read the magazine on the go. We have to the use the main site which is good. If your going to do an app make sure it all integrates and works as good as the main sure otherwise it's pointless.

Come on CCC get the app sorted. You can no longer make bookings on the app, they also do not pick up the phone. Are they still operating? Also tried their website which is just as bad. Error message everytime ' sorry something gone wrong ' message. Tried it on 3 browsers with VPN on and off, still the same. App is the same. All bookings now done on Caravan and Motorhome Club. All booked in 5 mins. No issue. CCC have major problems. POOR POOR POOR.

This must be the most frustrating app ever. Slow to load, will not store details, and on several occasions ive tried to book a site and it comes up as "sorry not available" but when I have phoned the site there are plenty of pitches. This happened last week at The Star Alton, and this week at Braithwaite fold. According to the web site, at the Star there were only grass pitches without electric, so I booked, when I got there, there were lots of hardstanding with electric pitches. Ridiculous.
