This is certainly an app many people wish for! And it's perfectly executed. Connecting with others is so easy, I think the app just encourages people to be very personal about their interests so it's not superficial and everyone is friendly. Personally, the waiting time for the letters to arrive is a great idea because it adds to the personal feeling. But there could be a limit like 24 hours bc 30 is a lot every time. It would be nice if you could prioritize some interests and topics too.👍🏻💓

I find the art of letter writing artistic and safe, made a ton of friends as well, love the stamp part :D. I think it would be nice if you guys introduced clubs where users passionate about a particular subject can write letters to each other (auto match keeps matching with the wrong users). It'll decrease the likelihood of users going inactive. Another concern is an increase in AI-generated letters ( like allowing copying from the drafts on only slowly)and servers that are down frequently 😅.

Ads pop up immediately after creating a profile. The free version is very limited, and you’re essentially pushed to buy a subscription. While I understand that servers, development, and maintenance cost money, there are many similar apps available, and this one doesn’t stand out in any remarkable way. In fact, it often feels cumbersome to use. It’s just another semi-dating app that seems more focused on soliciting money and collecting personal data than providing value. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Love the app. The design is cute and clear, also the handling. Most of the time my account is not open for receiving new letters. A flood of mail would come in otherwise. I prefer closer contact with only a few persons. Since that's also possible (I can decide roughly what range of people can contact me) I am happy. The app also offers the possibility to save prefabricated text blocks. Not my pair of shoes since I prefer sending and receiving individualized letters.

I have been a Slowly user for a while and i have to say its been like writing a diary with your thoughts to different people out there, i love this concept so much. Two things i'd like to mention is first a lot of profiles when searching for matches at top is most i find are not available.. i am like reading there bio and then i see at bottom they are not available it kills the mood if you like the bio. Second sometimes the app at the loading screen stucks it keeps loading for no reason.

I really love the concept of this app! Even though it feels harder to actually find people to talk to, I like that it works at such a slow pace and I guess that's just a matter of time. But there's one problem: I accidently hid a letter while it was sending. Now it shows that I got a new letter, but it appears nowhere, so that I can't read it or do something against that "new message" notifcation.

An app which slows your writing down? For sure that will be the big hit with the youth of today which isn't at all fixated on speed and being able to do everything faster. Jokes aside, I really like this app. I'm still pretty new to it (only wrote 10 letters or so). But already getting in touch with some foreign freaks, some of them are really interesting human beeings. Enough with this cringeworthy rewiew, just try the app, I love it! You have to think about your response and can't spam it.

Great idea to connect people near and afar! Also, as the name already says, it's about slowing down as messages tend to be a little longer and therefore need a bit more time (also to deliver). However, after using the app a while, it doesn't respond anymore when writing letters to one specific contact. It's only there, that the app-usability is really bad. And it's absolutely annoying when you need triple the amount of time you would have needed instead.
