Bought a brand new TCL Google OS TV. Tried to connect to register the TV using this TCL Home app. This is the worst app ever. Fails to connect every single time. I have tried everything to connect the phone app to my TV. Weird how everything else works on it Google side. TCL side is a huge failure and a total disappointment. Even phone support does not connect. Come on TCL get with the program or do something to make this app reliable.

Used to work sporadically for me after retrying to login in multiple times. Now as of a week ago every time I successfully connect to my device ie my tv, when I press any button, it loses connection... app just stopped working. Nothing to update, I deleted and reinstalled. Nothing helps. This buggy app finally just crapped the bed.

I bought a dehumidifier. connected the app to the dehumidifier fairly easily. worked great for a while. in the past week though, it sends notifications literally every 15 seconds to my phone when the reservoir on dehumidifier fills up and I can't find a setting anywhere in the app to turn off notifications. this is AWFUL when the bucket fills up in the middle of the night. absolutely deleting this app.

I have two window AC units I purchased fro. Costco and can't get the app to connect/find the units. Tried to connect when the units flashed CF and AP and neither worked. So many bad reviews of a lot of products not being able to connect to wifi and the company doesn't seem to care. I will not buy another TCL product again. Worthless app. Android user LA, Cali

I originally got the window unit to connect to this app. Now, it is saying that it cannot connect without having a hub. The original connection I had was saying some kind of Wi-Fi problem. I removed it and tried to redo the process and it says it requires the hub. You should not sell a product that did not require the hub, and then change it to require the hub with out giving the customer some kind of compensation for that.

Awful App!! Won't let me connect my device! Everytime it tries to communicate with my phone on the app, it ALWAYS time out at 80% then it kicks me off. Super annoying!! Connecting to the Google home is just as worst! You can't change the degrees from Celsius to F!! Plus, it just allows to only cool the room, and offers no other options to choose!!

Bought a dehumidifier and went to connect to this app. First, the links and QR code in the book don't even go to an existing webpage. Went to the webpage on my PC, the link to go to the Apple version of the app exists, but the link to go to the Andriod version doesn't go anywhere. Got the dehumidifier to display 'CF' and 'AP' to try both connect modes, neither worked.

Doesn't see my Google Home based TCL Series 4 TV. Sees the Roku version on my network that's signed into a different account. But the TV tied to the account I'm logged into the app with cannot connect. Additionally, the QR reader is garbage. It vibrates as if it's recognized the image, but then does nothing. The entire TCL half of my TV is useless without this app. At least the Google half is reliable. TCL, lowering my already extremely low expectations.
