I feel this app could do so much more. First off, the instructions are basic and very vague and not easy to understand. Second, you should be able to save in the app anything you create. Third, in the rhythm section, you should be able to create a playlist from files on your device or any cloud storage your device has access to; and those music files should play even when the app is not open. It's dumb that it only works when the app is open.

I have 4 of the light curtains. The app no longer works. I haven't tried to change the design on them for about 6 months and went out to change to Halloween theme to find that the app won't even connect or find my currains nor will any of the remote controls. And on the app there's like maybe a dozen patterns to choose from when there used to be a whole ton of holiday themes for like every holiday and those appear no longer exist. Very disappointed

Limited functionality. There is a color picker but it either does nothing or is limited. You can't set the lights to white, they will still have a light rainbow color. The cycles effects list is empty so I can't even use it. DIY option doesn't really have much use as you can't add effects or save your creations. No manual, the functions are not very intuitive. The lights look great in Rainbow, just wish the app was more usable.

Really wish I could give more stars on this app. Got this last year for our Christmas lights and created a bunch of DIYs. Kept the app on my phone all year so I wouldn't have to redo my DIY designs. There's no way to save them except in your app. However, set up the tree and my DIYs were all gone. Extremely disappointed. Wish they had more designs that were Christmas specific instead of just the rainbows. Really enjoy the app otherwise. Connects fairly well most of the time.

I really like it, I got one for Xmas and decided to put it up in my room instead of the tree. Really like the option between phone and remote, although I do wish some of the settings on the remote were on the app. Having some issues with the color adjuster not showing any color, so the color picker is a little off.

Please add a feature where you can favorite a sequence and then be able to play a Playlist of them. Would love to add one out of effects and gallery, diy, etc.. Also to be able to adjust the time a certain sequence plays would be awesome. Nice app but could be incredible with a few feature additions.

Installation not straightforward. To install: I have the smart fairy lights. I plugged them in, turned on Bluetooth & location, downloaded the app, gave it access to use precise location. App opens, swipe to the device you have & select. Hit the plus icon upper right, and your device will show up. On same line with device name, slide switch on the right to turn on, and it will start looking for your device to connect to. Connects, then works. If not seeing device, uninstall, restart exact steps.

It is high time that this company MAKES AN EFFORT TO UPGRADE AND REDESIGN THIS SOFTWARE TO GIVE CUSTOMERS A BETTER EXPERIENCE AND OFFER MORE CHOICES. Especially with your curtain systems. You charge a lot of money for these lights and your software is substandard. I want another 5 curtain systems but will not purchase them until improvements are made. It may better to cut the controller off and replace with one of many that are available and with better software. Soldering iron & laptop required
