Edit- When the app doesn't "time out due to endless loading" or refuse to show every make/model, it is good. Not a bad app or device. It won't auto read any vin I have tried it on, but this device smokes any basic elm 327 device. Definitely worth the cost. I wish I had known it had a companion pro version for $50 more before buying this one, but I don't regret my purchase. Decent bidirectional controls.

Love so far. Been using for almost a year with our topscan Bluetooth dongle an the only complaint i have is saving the report. I cant find where its saving it to so i can pull it back up. I e been emailing an texting it to myself so i can keep them available. Also wish it could do like a dash board mode. So i can use it as a gauge cluster.

It used to work great and was extremely useful for use on my car. I hadn't used for a while and needed to use it today. Spent a bunch of time updating and then scanning over and over again. The app would either force close or it would lose connection to the device and not give me a report.

This app was really good and worked flawlessly. After the last update, i'm no longer unable to communicate with any car. There was another update. It said it fixed known issues. Still no communication with any car. Please fix. 1 star for review since nothing works.

Been using on my daughter's car's,2013 Ford fiesta & other daughter's car ,2016 vauxhall Adam. both vehicles,systems diagnostic functions performed perfectly, retrieved DTC, enabling necessary repairs. Using this diagnostic tool has been very helpful and easy to use. Will use on my own Hyundai i10 n line vehicle too. Extremely happy with this product, money well spent.
VooDoo Nights
Brilliant app but now cannot pay subscription as it misdetects click on PayPal page and goes to forgot email page. Eventually PayPal locked me out. I got it to work but the active click area is way below where it should be.

Had huge issues with my phone after installing this app. Any time I tried to add a Bluetooth device that required a PIN code the screen would disappear in a fraction of a second and not allow to enter a PIN. I rest the phone after multiple tries to identify the reason, and at first everything worked as it should again adding Bluetooth devices and PINs, only to return again after I began reinstalling my apps. I worked backwards and as soon as I uninstalled TopScan my phone started working again.

Very capable scanner, but infuriating slow scanning. Every time I scan my vehicle, first it has to discover the fitted ECUs, which takes approx 5 mins. Then, when I command the actual DTC scan, it doesn't only scan the discovered ECUs, but also tries the ECUs it knows aren't fitted, prolonging the scan whilst they timeout. Very inefficient! Would be useful to be able to save a vehicle's profile to avoid the rescanning of available ECUs each time.
