Great app. I use it while work is dead and I gotta kill time but they really need to add an option to close a game when the stream is unresponsive. It will be working fine then the game will have a hiccup and crash the app and if I reopen the app and try to reconnect it'll just say couldn't connect to network relay and it leaves my pc running a video game til I get home only to find out it's all running fine and the only issue being the app couldn't connect to the game.

Never leave reviews on apps but after reading all of the negative feedback of people straight up claiming the app is trash and doesn't work, I had to. The app DOES work, and it does so amazingly well, so long as you have a good setup. Currently running on a Chromecast 4K (over 500mb WiFi), hooked up to my desktop that has hard wired ethernet. Straight up feels like I'm playing natively on console. Pro tip: if you have a 4K TV, in the steam link settings set it to enhanced 4K. Thank me later :)

I played cyberpunk on my phone while at work :) I can't believe this would work flawlessly. Of course bad internet will turn into bad result. But when you have good internet... damn. I played multiplayer games in this. Turn my PC into a console in 1 second. I can't belive it. The ui maybe copy cat but it's awesome. It has its own "aura" and the best thing is you can play the games you already brought on your PC, and played it with ps5 controller or Xbox like you brought the game over there.

Even on crazy good wifi, this is garbage. It's basically impossible to get a smooth experience even at 720p 60 streaming. I'm messed around with seemingly every possible configuration and it's constant stuttering and bad connection icon. How the hell has this not been fixed yet? Same as XCloud streaming, sooooo much money and not a single care for one of the biggest features of gaming. Can't recommend this to anyone

With apps like these, your mileage will vary. Personally, this app transformed my life. I'm now able to play my Steam games ANYWHERE through my phone/tablet and I have not experienced any connection problems (just minor lag spikes but that's to be expected). I stream through home WiFi (both pc and phone/tablet connected to the same 5ghz band) and occasionally through 5G mobile data. It's amazing. My advice is to try the app with your current network to see whether it is viable. 5 stars

Absolutely love this. Would really like to see it work well on devices with infinity displays. Got a custom resolution set up and it's great except the app doesn't display over the portion of the screen with the camera. Not really an issue it would just be nice. Every issue people have with this is directly related to their internet speed. Fantastic service

Decent but, needs a lot of work. Sadly, this app doesn't hold a candle to what Microsoft offers. This app has constant connection issues and needs some more love. If I remote my Xbox through the Xbox app, even from my phone on 5G, it works almost flawlessly from over the internet. Steam Link though, seems to struggle on my local wireless connection. This software could do much, much better. I cannot recommend it in its current state.

Fastest remote game streaming app for PC I have tried. I am docking a star because it is an absolute nightmare to run Red Dead Online. The game will crash out of no where due to a signal/connectivity issue with this app, and, unlike every other game- is unable to start up again smoothly. The app will say "desktop offline" because the game decided to shut down Steam to improve performance, therefore, the only process open is the Steam Game Overlay in the task manager.
