I won't give this 1 star bc it does teach some of the basics; however, save your money. Some pros: The UI isn't bad You'll learn some fundamentals Will help you start reading C# Cons: All you will learn are the most basic fundamentals (Hello World!, maths, etc.) Some vital fundamental functions are introduced and never explained. Some material is repetitive for padding. With Pro, you can have your cert in about an hour, if you don't mind testing on material you didn't learn. TL;DR: 95% Scam

This app is an utter scam. I paid money for the pro version and found sparse, light, scattershot, unfocused and sometimes even incorrect lessons, and the final test was comprised of literally 90% COMPLETELY new info not covered by the course itself. I couldn't even access my certificate when I finished - the app was just stuck loaded constantly and the website wouldn't even let me log in due to some error. It is utterly absurd that this app is allowed to exist and take people's money.

The "free" version of this app is VERY minimal. You get 3 "courses" that teach you stuff that you could Google and learn in 5 minutes. They false advertise their Pro version has 95% off, and it seems that the "discount" is always active no matter what. There are way better code learning apps than this one (at least with free versions), so there is almost no reason to use this at least from my experience.

The positive reviews must be bots, as this was a terrible experience. The knowledge it gives you does not prepare you whatsoever for the final exam, which is mostly made up of things not taught to you. There were several typos in the explanations, and the code itself even had some errors, such as a random "n" after a parentheses that shouldn't be there, an extra parentheses in a different example, and one where the x variable wasn't even defined first but told you it was. Do not download!

App Didn't Work I saw a couple reviews about glitches. But didn't think it could be this bad. After I opened the app, clicked past the ads, it didn't load any courses. It gave a few blank tabs and a coding environment. But I no courses to learn what to do. I did close and reopen. Then it tried loading courses but failed twice in a row. So I just downloaded a different app. I really don't trust an app to teach coding if it wasn't coded well itself.

It's a decent app for people who are beginning their journey but the ending quiz makes no sense. It will ask questions on topics that haven't been discussed or even touched on at all throughout the course, making it a quick and easy turn off for new programers. Asking "A valid size of a float data type?" and expecting someone new to programming to have any idea is beyond wild. The courses are neat and easy to go through but the final quiz makes no sense at all.

Used it for a few days, quite a few bugs when using it but it was still usable. Paid for the pro version (by the way, the limited time discount is a lie, the discount is always active) and now the app wont work, just a white screen with the dropdown at the top. Not that the lessons were all that detailed or informative. Honestly I don't even know why I would bother to learn programming from an app with so many problems. Am I going to learn how to make applications that crash on the user? 👎

So I purchased the pro version but... there's no course on classes? Nothing on creating new objects in an OBJECT ORIENTED programming language? This app gives the absolute minimum it needs to call itself a tutorial app. Everything it teaches is easily available for free elsewhere, and with better quality. Was hoping I could study more advanced stuff in my free time, but all I got was the stuff I learned in high school.
