Very good app version of the kaossilator phrase syntheziser. Intuitive and easy to use, good and useful sound library with possibility to import sounds/loops. Great sound, more than just an app to play around with, it's really an instrument. Only the drum options could be a bit better. With a TR-rec style sequencer it would be perfect.

I love this app, but it is in dire need of updates, feels pretty abandoned. Bluetooth needs to be faster, due to a strong delay in touch/sound time. The ability to import new samples would be amazing. (Add more soundpacks please!) It would be awesome if you could add an optional grid so that notes are mapped out in the spaces between the lines. This would help the drum pads as well. A layer for fx modulation is needed so that more presets can focus on vibrato. Hope to see more apps from Korg! 😉

So it has randomly copied one track over half of the tracks so now random songs in my list are the last thing I saved. It pretty much just bricked itself. Beyond frustrating and well also time wasting. How does an app korg have had out for years have a bug in it like this? Clearly a memory issue that should be easily fixable. Definitely not buying any korg gear in future. I wouldn't trust it not to delete or overwrite work.

Fun app. Needs some love tho. Would be nice if each part could have a mix function (hold, then left (down), right (up), just like mute/solo). Would be awesome if there was a hold function, so I can set the drumbeat in a region. Also, scale range (limit # of octaves) would help. Lastly, an easier way to load samples, if not a sample/input access for live sampling.

I was initially skeptical. At first it felt limited and I was ready to return it for refund. But once I started messing around, tweaking the built-in grooves to make them less cheesy, I discovered that I can import my own samples! Then power of this way of working opened up! Understanding how saving works and locating the file folder in /Android/data/jp.korg.kaossiltaor.android/ was annoying. But this app is fun, sounds great, and is powerful. I'm adding this to my live setup!

Spent all night messing with it and still love it! I own the hardware version of this and while the app isn't even close, it's a great tool/toy to play with! The sounds are good, the interface is mild, (could use some improvements, but is decent) ... Highly suggested turning up the sensitivity on your display, it helps the app detect better. ... Wish there was an Ableton Link... ... Also a way to mute one of the 5 tracks in sequencer mode, like double tap to mute that one channel.

Very fun app to mess around with. Good controls to quickly make interesting beats. I really don't like the way the app looks though. Looks very.. unfinished? Amateurish? Idk, I just hate the UI. Also wish there was a few more controls, effects, or customizable XY parameters. Those are small complaints though. It's a solid app all around and easy to use. I highly recommend it for anyone who is into making music.

I think I got this free. Best $0 I ever spent. Seriously though, very fun app. I should mention that I realized it cannot record fast movements quite as well, due to it taking your position X times a second, meaning some recordings may sound a little different on playback. Not a big issue though, it must be a sacrifice for file size, since you have to draw the line somewhere.
