This is a hard review for me to give. This app has been so important to me for years. It's just not well designed/programmed. Even with my brand new Galaxy S22 there are constant lag/network issues when meeting people or uploading photos. It's unusable at times. Fix the app's many bugs and I'll give the app a higher review. Other than the bugs, it's a great community and information center. I have loved pdb and the people I have met on here for years and years.

I would have loved to continue with this app, and was even strongly considering paying for a subscription... However, the amount of ads that appeared by day 2 were wayyy more than anyone can or should accept. It became literally impossible to do ANYTHING for more than 25 seconds before getting sent to Google Play by whichever app was being advertised (doesn't matter which one. They all send you to their download page) and from there you cannot get back to the app. I couldn't have paid if tried!

Gets a 3 max until notifications are categorized correctly and we can turn off spam notifications. Not only are they unsolicited they show up twice in browser (bug?) and once on mobile, regardless of whether you read them on mobile first (also probably a bug). Thanks for the bug fixes. But now the tab that had links to the forums has turned into a button - are they trying to make it hard to navigate to the forum?

Upon downloading PBD, I found it was fun yet and interesting yet not something I'd spend money on. When I went to cancel my subscription, I found that it wouldn't go through. Yet when I clicked the other buttons right beside the manage subscription button, everything worked fine. I was really disappointed to see such scammy behavior from this app which I find really cool. It's really disheartening, especially knowing there's a lot of kids using the app. :(

Constant advertisements, boring/annoying community tab, a ton of unregulated and horrible takes on typology, with a lot of misinformation, horrible navigation, and if it kept the same style as the site beforehand it'd be a lot more enjoyable. Edit: now there is spam/scam links! At random at a certain click it will send you to a phony website, usually Amazon, trying to steal your information.

This might have turned into the worst app. You used to be able to go on and look at a personality profile, but now, you can't click anything without getting multiple ads. The idea of the site is fantastic, the execution is absolute hell to go through. Definitely one of the most painful apps to navigate unfortunately. Plus, when I use the app, I'm doing research. Now a days, it's all about connecting with random bots and people so it's impossible to navigate without getting requests

the app is informative enough, but the full screen ads that pop up while you're trying to do anything make navigating the app time consuming and annoying. The fact that you can't just click right out of them, but have to wait 15-30 seconds before you can get back to the page makes the app nearly unusable. And the content on the app isn't close to being worth paying for a premium subscription. I'll switch back to the web version of PDB until you get rid of all these stupid ads.

This used to be a really good app, ads only used to pop up every 10 or so clicks or basically not at all. And when they did, you could click off of them immediately. When the app was like that, it was 100% perfect in every way. Last week the ads turned into 5 second Temu ads and I was like, "ok... That's fine I guess." Now they're 30 damn seconds and clicking off doesn't work when you first try. PDB creators, haven't you read the reviews on other apps that do this with ads? You're ruining PDB.
