This 'Pro' app is poor and buggy, e.g. search results are not displayed sometimes! Only the online dict versions are extensive, but you do not need this app for them as you can use your normal browser! This way you avoid the glitches in this app. IMPORTANTLY, the offline dicts' contents are very limited and insufficient for advanced use. Hence, save the $ and use your normal to browse on thefreedictionary, your experience will be much better.

I love this dictionary app so much. Its the best out there. I use it to help with learning new words, spelling, plus I love how you can bookmark words. I love all the features it has. It's very functional and easy to use. I did go pro, because I wanted to get access to the grammar book and the offline features. This app has helped me so much educationally to help fill the gaps I have in my learning, when it comes to reading and my vocabulary. Life changing. ❤️

I grew up in a home where we kept a copy of a huge dictionary by the dinner table. I was extremely lucky to have a Father who taught my sisters and I the joy of learning. I've used (and purchased) quite a few dictionary apps over the decade - and assure you this is the best I've found. I can't tell you how many times this is the only one of them that includes comprehsive definitions - and etymology - of words that aren't even listed in other popular reference apps.

😲 I can't believe just how comprehensive this multilingual, interdisciplinary, and truly phenomenal resource is! I often can get lost exploring the nuanced details of my searches while always discovering something new along the way! It also has a lot of games and features that make learning and researching fun and easy. It's my go-to dictionary for especially recondite, enigmatic, or ambiguous words that must be contextualized further for the relevant interpretation, meaning, and review!!!👍😎

It does not work on my files. I expected an option to be taken to the dictionary when a word is selected in some documents: Pdf, word , html etc but it is not so. It doesn't give synonyms of words selected as you read pages of documents. You have to exit the document to reach the app for both online & offline pages. That is, it does not display over other apps. That is the only problem

The dictionary is a really good one. However, there's always a scope for improvement which, for this dictionary app, as of now, would be: 1. Offline pronunciations (English India) 2. Better Hindi translations 3. On Android when we select a text on any app, a pop-up appears with options like copy, cut, paste, etc. other dictionaries also appear in the options. It would be very very good and handy, useful if this dictionary also appears there.

Very good, and in fact superior to all other dictionary apps I've used. You get word definitions in English along with translations in German, French, and Spanish, and articles about various historical events and personages. You also get flashcards and other features, which is not something I would expect a simple dictionary app to offer.

I've had this Dictionary for years, so my review is true. Fantastic! Super easy to use, I've spent hours linking from one word to another. Upgrades &upkeeps app often, but no unnecessary useless changes like other apps do (can't get better than perfection, right?). The graphic thesaurus is the bomb! I occasionally update my review becuz I'm so grateful! I can't brag enough about this app! No hidden costs, subscriptions, like the others do. I believe it may be my most used app THANK YOU GUYS!
