The app is very buggy, way too many crashes and always tells me there's an error when I try to change or update something. It wasn't even great for making any meaningful connections. and way too many spam accounts. Definitely an unpleasant experience. There are much better dating apps where you can make really connections elsewhere. Still trying to delete my account, too.

Edit: updates have been making it progressively worse, but also I do still use it so...? // There's nothing else like this out there. I've been using the app on and off since probably 2020 and have found it to be a great way to meet people and find out about events, especially when moved to a new city. It can get a bit glitchy at times, though I haven't personally had most of the problems other reviews have described.

This is yet another disappointing "community" app that limits you in every possible way so you'd buy a subscription. I'm so tired of making profiles, introducing myself, and sifting through settings and categories. The purposefully flat UI is often disorienting and a lot of things don't seem to work very smoothly. 🤷♀️

It's an alright app with SO much potential to be better, I'll still use it with hope as it grows. Of course there's crashing everytime I try to get back to the homepage, but I wish you can reply to specific comments instead of just posting a random comment in general, have your comment notifications on other's posts in the reaction section instead of having to fish for it once that notif is gone, and being able to switch being a host of an event to just advertising a local one.

please separate message notifications into two things that can be toggled on or off separately: group message notifications, and direct message notifications. right now i cant have message notifications on because it means i am flooded from groupchats that i don't want to get notifications from all the time, so i have to turn it off and i have no idea when someone has directly messaged me as a result. you might also consider giving users the choice of which groupchats they receive notifs from.

I used to be on the app a lot, but then I had an unfortunate experience and took a long break. Im back now, looking for the fun experiences I remember from way back when. Many people will find a way to ruin a good thing. The trick is getting through the ones that hurt and sticking with the ones that don't. It feels like a series of newspaper ads and a lot of fun can come from answering some of them

this app was described as being for "finding friends". i assumed that some people would be looking for romance too but i was not expecting to be immediately, right after creating my account, shown multiple extremely explicit posts. I checked the settings and theres no way to hide or filter these posts. i had no idea this was an app akin to something like grindr.

It's basically Queer Nextdoor since they added comments, but better that than Regular Nextdoor. Nothing really important is locked behind "Lex Plus," although nothing worth $10/mo is either. I might buy it to support the app if it cost about half as much. Ads are maybe more numerous than I'd like but pretty unobtrusive, text only (+emoji) sponsored post type deal, not the kind of thing I can complain about when I ain't donating to upkeep costs.
