Took me a min. to figure out how to be able to join call, because I already had the app open, so had to go out and come back in. Once I joined the call tho, picture quality and audio quality were perfect! Had zero issues with either and enjoyed seeing as well as hearing from my loved one. The ONLY issue I had w/ entire thing was from the end of the correctional facility requiring me to submit 4 photos with my I.D., claiming picture wasn't clear enough, when it CLEARLY WAS. I recommend this app.

I find it interesting that while going through several reviews, every one of them have support responses and then any that mention that the app is stating 'invalid birthday,' there's no support response. I can't set up my account due to the birthday issue and because everytime I attempt to submit a picture of my photo ID, I am kicked out of that app! Absolutely not impressed and super annoyed!!!!!!

So buggy! I have it installed on my iphone, but it won't update with notifications. It shows "pending" when DOC says my visit has been approved. On the connection test, video works, but there is no sound. No menu access to try to correct anything. I've also downloaded it onto my laptop via BlueStacks (which creates an Android simulation on your PC). Here it works a little better, at least it shows that my upcoming visit is approved. But it displays my video sideways, with no way to rotate. I suppose I'll just visit with my friend through the PC and tell him to ignore my sideways image. At least we'll be able to talk. I contacted Ameelio yesterday about these problems, but no response. You can't call them, they only help (if they help) via email. Ameelio is a great concept, but obviously many, many bugs to work out.

Never never NEVER has a stable connection. It freezes repeatedly throughout the visit...making a 50 minute visit roughly 10-15 mins of actual visiting; the rest of the time is spent reconnecting and restarting devices. It makes my loved one frustrated, and it happens no matter where I am. Have reached out to customer care via email, got no response, so I used social media, where I was only redirected to email. Good concept, but VERY poor execution of intended service.

This is one of the worst app's. My inmate could see me & I could see & hear him. But he could not hear me! I tried to change my setting the night before. I even sent a message to the app design team. I didn't get an answer so the video was a bust! I have a Samsung SM Galaxy Note 20. It is only 2 years old & I purchased it NEW! At one time this app would send me a link on my computer & I would just click the link and it worked well. Some app's are not good for SENIORS. NOT considerate!!

Horrible app! It freezes constantly. From my 25 minutes of video visitation I only got maybe 1 or 2 minutes because the video kept on freezing up, and the app turned off continously. This is no improvement, and I haven't scheduled any video visitations with my friend due to this. I wrote Ameelio an email but got no response and no support. This is no improvement for video visitation, it made everything worse.

Terrible app a lot of connection issues. Freezing and dropping calls. The newest problem that it request to connect to Bluetooth even when your Bluetooth isn't on on your phone. It won't allow you to do the video call. This app is bogus and has to many problems with the app. Highly recommend Iowa DOC need to get a better video call system.

Had a video visit scheduled and received a message stating visit was rejected because it wasn't made on Chromebook LUD-B. Never had a Chromebook, will not get one. Are they trying to force me to get a Chromebook?? They can't do that. It has had problems since it was introduced. And, they don't care. If they did, they would get it fixed or scrap it. This app is nothing but junk.
