best lightning Tracker app out there by far! That said. Just got the pro version and while there are extra options in the app menu, I still get annoying things on the screen asking if I want the pro version. I thought this would all go away if I payed?! Lost a star for that.

It's a great ap, a little heavy on ads but hey, I'm using the free version. Some negative reviews could be solved by studying it more and read the description. A HELP link would be helpful. The radar is too fast, is not displayed in real time. Also hard to see thru the radar to present location. Need a choice of more detailed maps. Overall it's a good ap. Doubt if there is a better one out there.

I keep trying to rely on it... It works great sometimes and then doesn't at others. Just now, mid storm I lost the radar firecasting. Sometimes I can use it offline with my location and sometimes I can't. As an avid outdoors person in wildfire and often stormy country it would be such an awesome tool if I could trust it more. I've had no desire to upgrade to paid because what's free doesn't even work.

The app constantly reports lightning strikes outside the radius that I specified. It has complete access to my phone's location data, so that shouldn't be a problem. I was trying to use it to determine a safe area for outdoor sports nearby (trail running, mountain biking), but instead it shows me every lightning strike on mountains 30 miles away.

Very helpful. Used it every storm. Ive installed another lightning tracker as well and toggle between them- they complent each other. Very useful,very easy and intuitive interface. thanks I wish to learn more in regards to the precision of the marked location of the lightning strike and the heighth that the information is gathered, i.e., the discharge might travel several miles from cloud base to ground- is the measurement aquired in the atmosphere or at ground. Thanks again!

Need setting for opacity of radar. Doesn't zoom to most recent with proper setting. Need better designation for new strikes. ZOOM TO setting not working.Would like to have ability to have multiple locations so could track current location, home, second home. Radar...would like to be able to stop at "now" and then play forward without going back to start and to set play back speed.

I love this app! This app will pin point where lightning strikes have hit and the time it happened. And thus make it easier 2 track which way the storm is heading. Not just at 11.03pm above the clock tower in Hill Valley. That's great, isn't it, Scott?

No issues with this app. Updates are fast. Users can keep the app open and watch lightning strikes appear in real-time. Res dots are new strikes, yellow dots are 5 minutes old. If you zoom out, circle bubbles display the actual count, 20+, 30+, 50+, 100+ etc.
