Very poor experience. Very difficult to make changes to service dates. Even if I attempt a change days in advance it says I cannot or day unavailable. So I'm stuck paying for service that I never obtain because I'm not home to allow the landscaper backyard access. Impossible to cancel membership so I cancelled my debit card to avoid addtl charges. Horrible.

At first I had no issues with the service. But eventually the "pros" they hire stop coming and stop communicating. The helpline and chat line are useless and just promise to connect you with a new pro. I was connected and dropped with no communication or reason why from 4 different "pros." Highly suggest using a different service.

All of a sudden there are limited Pros in my area and no one to service my yard. I have been trying to contact Lawnstarter but they changed their way in contacting support. I tried their Live chat: unavailable, I tried emailing them, they now have it changed to where their doing incoming emails. My yard has grown very high and now, it's a challenge finding a Pro due to LawnStarter's changed algorithm. I heavily rely on Lawnstarter since for years. Hoping for better changes with customer support.

My pro showed up after 8pm when the town ordinance ended. He had previously said in the app that he'd come before 11am. I told him no that he can't start the nearly 1 acre lawn in the dark, especially with the small gas push mower he had. That we will need to cancel the job and reschedule. He left but marked it completed anyway. I contacted support and they gave a credit, but the credit expired after 1 day when the app couldn't find a pro. So now I'm still out $97 for nothing.

I've used this service multiple times, and I'm about to cancel it again as each time the service providers in my area get worse, the longer I use the service. They push me back so many times my grass is too long and they can charge me a "long grass fee" after the first 3 services that you're obligated to take, the quality of service takes a huge dive. Multiple crews are no-shows on days they picked after rescheduling me when they fail to show up on the day we agreed upon originally.

The people I spoke with were friendly and knowledgeable. When I needed someone out fast they responded in a timely fashion. Plus they help me with portions of my yard that are easily flooded without complaints. The quote was reasonable and they come out when needed and the open communication makes everything extremely easy to know what is going on and if we need to reschedule.

If I could give negative stars I would. The provider/vendor has not showed up to cut my grass on 3 separate occasions. The Lawnstarter customer service was not helpful. Their providers are of the poorest quality. DON'T USE THIS APP!!!! They cannot be trusted. Also, I did not give them my debit card info and they have it on file. Scam Artist!!!! Be Ware!!!!

I called many landscapers. Most are too busy. Lawnstarter is a great service in an easy to use app. Priced competitively and you can add services as needed like mulch, spring cleanup etc.
