the best and most just friendly smart system out there! I most definitely recommend going with the lutron Smart switch system as it is cost effective, just friendly (you don't need to hire a tech person to program your smart system, with their easy to use app it literally takes minutes before all your devices are linked and operated with your phone or voice command setup!

I have had Lutron lights for 5 years. I am so happy with the product. I started with 3 light switches and now I'm at 10. The switches work great never an issue. I have different scenes programmed that I can activate with my voice using Alexa. This is the best product of this type that I have found.

The app is ok, but why can't I set up my scene as an event? If I want to schedule a scene, I have to recreate it in the event settings, which is really easy to mess up, and if you ever decide to change one, you need to update the other too! This has been solved on other apps.

+1-ed to 4 stars based on how wonderfully helpful, patient, and considerate, the advanced help technician was Advice: go directly to their ADVANCED support, at least they can speak to problems at a more qualified level. Everything was working about on par (possibly less well) than my Phillips Hue setup for > 6 months. Recently the bridge stopped connecting to my network/app and no amount of reset, powering on/off, re-installation, etc - worked. Moving to an new PORT on the switch did.... FWIW written docs explaining the blink pattern of the bridge's LED would be ENORMOUSLY helpful...

Great system, but not without faults. Arriving/Leaving Home light control is spotty. When I first set up the system I had no problems. Arriving home would turn my foyer light on as programmed, but after the last few updates, it doesn't turn on when I arrive home, but instead randomly will turn on, after I'm home for 20 mins, or in the middle of the night!. I've even deleted the setup and reinitiated that section of the app without luck.

after a few years I'm revising my original review of five stars down to three. I'm finding that the app does not even contain a log whereas you can see what was the cause of your lights turning on or off. This actually becomes important and there are a lot of lights and a lot of people and or routines controlling them.

Having problems with the lights and Google Home. If I ask Google to brighten the lights it sets the light to 14 percent. Even if that's much dimmer. If I ask to dim the lights, it turns the lights completely off. Just started happening recently. Used to work fine. Also have noticed the home and away features only work around half of the time. Used to work perfectly.

EDIT: Great devs listen to feedback. Amazing product and app. ORIGINAL: Please remove the top bar from the widget that advertises lutron. It cuts off the second line of the scene name. thx. Also it would be amazing if you created a shortcut that toggled scenes or switches, so users could have their own method of control.
