The app has been extremely helpful, both in searching, and reminding me which garbage goes out each week. Lately it has been coming up with an error saying it's no longer supported. It still works, still notifies me as it should, but I'm concerned I could be missing information that will cause me to sort incorrectly and wind up with a fine. If that happens, I will not be happy, since this is the only version on the Halifax.ca website.

It's still early stages but I've found the app very helpful so far. I don't think this is a feature but if it could adopt AI features to help with garbage and recycle sorting by viewing a photo taken or just by holding the camera over the item and outlining the item as green or red so it's better sorted

I love the reminders the evening before specifying what is to be disposed of that week. I also like the guides as to what is or is not recyclable/compostable and how to dispose of the more obscure household items. Very user friendly and simple interface. It would be useful to have a breakdown with visuals of each recyclable plastic and what its corresponding number means (the one inside the triangle).

The app isn't anything special but it does what it's supposed to do good. The app has some really helpful features like sending you notifications for when to put out garbage/recycling. I also appreciate that the app has a search function to help ID if an item is recyclable. I would 10/10 recommend this app to anyone who finds keeping up with recycling/garbage overwhelming or confusing.

Works well and I like getting the notifications. It does take awhile for the app to be updated with changes though. When the switch to weekly Compost and bi-weekly blue bag pick up was implemented for instance. Overall, I am glad they put this out, especially with the cancelation of the paper calendar.

Good: Push notifications for garbage collection reminders is an amazing feature. Bad: - Poorly designed app icon gives me sketchy vibes (come on you guys can do better. I know you have a bunch of smart designers there.) - Information is poorly structured. - garage sales are not helpful. What, are we still in 90s? We are way past the flyer days. Instead including features similar to FB market place would be useful or simply link to FB market place. - electronic waste collection can be impoved.

I think this app is pretty good. One thing I do not like is the notification appears in black where all of my other notifications appear in white. It somewhat distinguishes it from all the others, sure. But I it makes it hard to notice when it is against a black background.

Every time I open this app it tells me this version isn't supposed anymore and to update. I go look because I do updates regularly and there's no update. I've uninstalled and reinstalled just to get the same messages over again. And my phone isn't old, so it's not that
