Noticed radar was down and contacted support. Responded very quickly and it's something out of thier hands. I've been using it for awhile now and It's very close to the original raindar which I used for years and still miss but this one will do :) Update: Something has changed and the radar is no longer accurate. It used to be spot on. If it showed rain it meant rain. Now it shows green for miles at the edge of storms and not a drop of rain in it. Did the radar service change?

Oops... sorry, I'm seeing the developer's response a little late. Editing my review. The radar animation is working fine now. 5 stars! [Here is what I said originally: "I was glad to be able to purchase this version, to get rid of ads. But the animation does not work smoothly. It flashes, on-off-on..." ] So it's fixed now, working as it should.

I am uninstalling this app again. I gave the new version a try but it still has scrolling flashing above the map, it is terribly distracting. Also it nags about the location every time. I don't want to use the GPS! Stop this please. Still waiting for the distracting flashing at the top of the screen and the annoying pop up messages about requiring GPS to be removed. Sad it's too late to get a refund.

Very useful. Excellent response speed from developer when notifying him of problems with the app. Motorcycle riders should use this app to stay aware of imminent weather changes and traffic density. This is a must have for road trips. If I had one wish, it would be the option to overlay this display on my Google Maps route. I have successfully bypassed a storm by riding through a narrow gap between storms. March 2022 update is even better!

It's not working, used to be the greatest app for rain but now it's just a map app, I even went with the paid version and nothing, it only shows a map with my location and never a cloud, I thought it might be the radar but other apps are working fine, also check with friends in different parts of the island but nothing. This happened before with Raindar I. That's why I got Raindar II, I'm I going to have to get Raindar III?

I was so excited to find this app again! It was always one of my favorites from years ago. Great radar with storm tracks! $1.99 to remove ads on the Pro version is well worth it. Thanks for bringing this app back!

Really loved the original raindar. Was very sad to see it stop working. Now it is back! Although I've never seen an ad in the version with ads, $1.99 is well worth contributing toward its return. The app does what it says it's going to do very well, and thank goodness, not anything else.

It warms my heart to see this simple app resurrected! I'm a vet who used Raindar in the field for many years, and then as a tractor/double-trailer driver across the 'snowbelt' of Northern NY state. It is a simple, valuable tool, and worth every penny. Good job, guys!!
