This app has been extremely helpful in helping me get some practice in learning German, as I don't really have many people to practice with. The tutor has been extremely helpful in helping correct some mistakes I have made, and the AI pen pals that you're able to talk with have been very helpful in giving me some experience with German grammar rules. Would recommend.

J'adore Sylvi!! One of my goals this year was learning French and I've learned a lot in only 3 weeks, I'm not only learning vocabulary, I'm actually being able to have a conversation in the language, written and spoken. My only complaint is the microphone, it doesn't work well sometimes but it might be my phone lol, other than that, the inversion is completely worth it!

Almost perfect. I wish the tutor had a voice like the pen pals do. I also wish that it read the news to you or had a bilingual version of the article.

Just don't download this app. It's not free, there's just a free 7 week trial, but the moment it ends it switches you to a subscription plan without notice or warning. The only way to stop it is to "cancel your subscription in the settings" which, of course, aren't labelled as 'cancel subscription' or 'settings'. I just deleted my account and deinstalled and now I'll wait to see what happens. There's a reason this app has no other reviews or more info about it. It's a scam, plain and simple.

It's by far the best app for practicing the language you learn. The conversations with the "friends" seem extremely real! The only thing missing, in my opinion, is a feature for practicing speaking.

I really enjoy getting aa chance to practice my conversational Spanish but I didn't realize you automatically start a 7 day trial and then it requires a paid membership. I wish there were a free option with ads or something

It would have been nice to see Norwegian in the "with the following languages on the way" part but an enjoyable app regardless
