Provides everything missing from Google Maps in a distinctly attractive interface. High version numbers usually mean a high level of refinement. I like having a choice of location provider. It's my go to app for retrieving my current address. Changing the location pin is quirky, but not a big deal.

Positional is an absolute beauty of an app! I'm so glad I got it. The compass is accurate. I wish you could use it to log trails and force the GPS/location service to continuously run in the background. This app needs to win for design done right! Simple, streamlined, and efficient. Hope you got a good data plan. The map isn't off-line, and no way to change map providers (didn't see a setting anywhere, maybe I missed it). But a nicely done app nevertheless. 4/5 stars with lots of room for improvement.

Great tools, just what I was looking for. Thank You. Update! This really saved us from being very lost. A follow hiker was using an old field compass. The thing took us way out of our path to get home. I pulled Positional out and redirected us to reach home base. A little tired and late, but we arrived. Thanks to you, we now know what to use. Another expensive compass fails and Positional came through for us again. Don't leave home without it!

This is a very good location app. Has timely email support. The only negative is setting a different app icon in Settings. It doesn't work. The developer says that issue is unique for my device, nevertheless. If anyone has that issue, please report it.

Obviously uses Google maps SDK. A side effect of that is that maps do not get cached offline (since Google does not allow that in the Maps SDK license), which renders the whole app rather useless for me. Not every place on Earth has a good and stable internet connection… especially when hiking et al. I'll stick with Google Maps which offers offline maps.

This app is the most focused one for finding your current location, with a very beautifully crafted theme! You can also save locations easily, find your way to a place, and share the location with anyone! Has clutter free interface than Google Maps! Thanks developers!
