Helsana made it easy to navigate through policies, bills and costs. I'm not a customer, but I help my mother (a customer of Helsana insurance), when she needs to see her latest health updates through the app. I'm very happy with the app, hopefully they'll add more options such as: Register optional insurances and change doctor or basic insurance cover 👍🏻🙂

The app should offer 2FA using an authenticator app instead of SMS, as a more secure alternative. Edit: Thank you for your response. While the pass key function seems to work well on the mobile app, I still need to use an SMS code when logging in to the web service.

Good app app, excellent scan feature. It miss a "mark as read" or "mark all as read" button for the different elements received, like the files (counter at 99+ for years now...) I noticed some weird translations in english. Maybe, add notifications for internal messaging only, too...

A good app but annoying with the login. Everytime need mTAN to login, whereas just registering the app with one mTAN would have been a easy solution. Going to the pharmacy and showing the insurance card through app needs each time mTAN. Sometime the mTAN comes hours after applying for login and makes the user experience worst. After login in page keeps loading and nwver the content are displayed. App designed by Assura is even far better, which asks only fingerprint or pin during login.
max power
Scanning sth is almost impossible. What a shame this app. Annyoing for everybody just so helsana save some money. I did it on black and white background. Both didnt work. Edit: 19.10.2021 I tried it with white, black and other backround. Its not the solution. I also used diffrent phones etc. Now after almost a year and several updates, still no changes.

Update: many thanks for fixing the issue so fast. Background: With 2 factor enabled, the app doesn't allow me to login. After submitting password, instead of allowing to enter the sms code, it redirects to login page always

Could be fantastic but very often shows technical errors and does not capture uploaded documents submitted for processing. In the end I have to write emails and use another way so it unfortunately makes the app almost obsolete

Could be more useful. 1: No payment confirmation and summary of payment available in this app, even Helsana doesn't provide the payment confirmation (where as Visana and other insurance companies provide it each six months). 2: when someone sends/uploads a receipt or invoice, it takes months to be processed by Helsana. And once they are processed, there is a chance of invoice being vanished for Helsana employees. So you have to call and call in order to get your money back 🙄. 3: complex login
