I'm surprised to see this keyboard still being maintained. It seems updates are at a much slower rate than years ago. It is still a good product, but I would love to see a theme which matches with the dynamic colors of Android rather than the default themes we currently have. Feels like this app has been effectively made for older versions of Android anymore because of how dated everything looks.

Fantastic til certain letters and the period stopped working. No amount of precision or pressure would put a period at the end of my sentences. Spell check was overbearing by a mile. I could re correct its correction and it would continually change the *correct* spellings back to the incorrect ones five, ten, or fifteen times until I just gave up. I got Typewise because it was supposed to be faster than Gboard. After a month Typewise has slowed down WORSE than Gboard. Don't waste your money here

I got so frustrated always fixing mistypes swiping on the stock keyboard. Typewise had a little learning curve, especially learning where to find some special characters, but now I can easily type as a fast ask could swipe (especially with not having to fix all of the swipe fails!), and with fewer errors. Some killer features like gestures to capitalize, delete, and move the cursor easily are super helpful. would be nice if there was a speech to text option. Also, PRIVACY!

Finally found an app that (after a month and change) still shows "no mobile data used". Only worry about other apps for ads. Took me about a week to get past the learning curve, but I'm glad I soldiered through. The only reason I'm not giving this app 5 stars (I'd give it 4.5 if i could) is the auto correct. It's not terrible, but certain mistakes should default to better suggested words. Example: "Ohe" = "the" happens when i misspell "one" O is nowhere near T, so this doesn't make much sense.

With the last update, all sorts of problems. The keyboard is not working properly like it used to. I?ve been using this for several months now. When I press for the numbers, it does not show the numbers, but will type the numbers if you press the right alpha key. Also, when pressing the question mark to get an apostrophe, it won?t work, as you can see here with the word won?t. Backspacing delete doesn?t work right. Deleted part of my original review to say why would you respond to me in German?

Great keyboard that I have been using for years, but after the typewise update, I have to reach all the way across my phone screen to delete a lot of text. Is there anyway to change it to how it was like on WIRO where the backspace only needed a little swipe to the left and I can just hold it there instead of drag to all the way to the left hand of the screen? My screen is big and it is super uncomfortable to delete a lot of text now.

Great keyboard. Thanks to the availability of an offline version , I'm able to use it. Many keyboards are basically just keyloggers. Its quite terrifying, and ads can be a vessel to do that. I also dislike predictive typing. I dislike random words being thrown into my face and derailing my thoughts. This keyboard allows you to turn that off and just use the bigger, and cool looking hexagon keys instead. In landscape mode it gives a numpad in the middle which helps with long phones. Its good.

There is a fundamental inconvenience: Only a few keys/hexagons have got a secondary character function. In this way, you need to switch modes to use special characters and numbers, which is a gross loss of functionality and a missed improvement opportunity. I have tried liking it more over the years, but I always end up uninstalling it and moving to something else.
