On my Google Pixel 8 Pro, it said the lens was uncovered and didn't work, even if I fully covered it. However, I tried it on a Google Pixel 4a, and it worked. It seems this app doesn't work on some phones, as they have an imbedded LED which bleeds infrared light into the camera. The light is invisible to the eye, but the camera's sensor can see it. If your camera sees a purplish light in its own reflection, it's incompatible. Even when working, it takes several minutes to complete a scan.

I have used your app successfully on cheap phones. I have a nice phone now and it just will not initialize the camera. It started off not allowing you to pic what camera to initialize. So I suspect the same is happening, trying to initialize both front and rear cameras and the screen noise, which the screen side camera is embedded in, is causing the whole things to fail. I did get through stage three and it said some phones won't work due to image noise. Why not allow the rear camera only.

App not showing anywhere measurements counts in any units. Despite in settings, you select units type. This app only show you "all clear" and green got at the test end. in "real time mode" the graph has time units, but no units or even scale for measurements or any number is assigned for the measurements. Are those cumulative counting, does it zero count, or background level calibration leve, that is it measuring? is it zero or what? what units, what is shown?

This app does its job properly. For anyone not knowing, this app needs access to the camera because gamma rays can interact with the camera's sensor, showing a sort of "line". It needs completely dark environment (use black tape to cover lens) because to detect radiation, it measures the amount of light flashes in a determined amount of time. So, yes this app does indeed access the camera, for anyone concerned about that, but only if it is pitch black.

When I first opened the app and was at the stage before measuring, it told me to give permission to send me notifications, use approximate location then to switch it to presise. It also said that it would "measure on the background" and blah blah while it would be watching my presise location and collect data without me even knowing. I just agreed then I tried, and accidentally uncovered my lens. I tried again, and the app immediately crashed. Would not recommend at all. It's very bad quality.

This app is FAR too invasive for what it does. Requiring precise location permission even when the app is not running is absolutely not required as the app claims, this is a bold-faced lie. If the app is not running, it's because the user does not want to collect data. Do not presume to make decisions for your user base. We can decide on our own whether or not we want the app running and collecting data. Instant deal-breaker, and I have already uninstalled this snoopy app.

I am absolutely amazed at the concept that the developer employs here. I would really appreciate some explanation on the calibration aspects, as it always comes up with "all clear ". Is the actual background radiation used as the zero point? It would be a great feature to know background radiation levels in mSievert. Thnx

Seems to operate, but won't tell me enough. I want each camera's counts/minute, not just "All Clear" 😑. Even if your calibration for my model does not yet exist. (Does it? Tell me that, yes or no, in the app.) Let me text-label the location. And tell me the location it has received with my permission.
