The app is a piece of trash. It has turned unusable. Thanks to this app not working, I was forced to try pairing its device with a different app. I paired the smartscale with FitIndex app. It works! Also I realized that the body fat percentage from FitIndex app is accurate whereas Actofit app had been showing incorrect body fat %. I had a Dexa scan done on me and it had returned 24% whereas Actofit had been showing 11%! On FitIndex app, it shows 21.2% 6 months since DEXA. So that's true result

After 4 successful years of working flawlessly and countless moments where I recommended this app for its UI and simplicity, this app has finally stopped working completely. for instance, I started getting 'Socket timeout exception' after each measurement. Then, when I tried reinstalling, it doesn't allow me to login as phone OTP is not received. My family's entire history is recorded and I need analytics of this information as I have paid for it with the scale. What to do? No Clue. IQOO Z6 - 5G

Update: Well what do you know. the app is unusable again. literally so. tried clearing cache and data, reinstalling, everything else I could think of. anything I could think of, because support is unresponsive of course. so this app is just a non functioning login/permissions screen as of now. and so the digital scale is just a fancy looking normal weighing scale.

Tried signing up on the Actofit app but never received the OTP for verification. Repeated attempts, different times, even different numbers — nothing worked. Reached out to their support email and got zero response. If you can’t even complete the basic sign-up process or get help when stuck, what’s the point of the app? Extremely disappointed with the service. Not recommended until they fix their user onboarding and actually respond to customer queries.

earlier interface was better. new interface is confusing and not helpful cons: 1. can't add a new family member or friend without their phone numbers! why you want all family phone numbers ? People can't just measure weight without giving their phone numbers ? 2. there should be an option to share the stats directly from the screen after measuring weight. earlier it was there. why did you remove it ? 3. how to for e sync my data with Google fit after a measurement?

This used to be a great device and app, easy to use and without bugs. Now it's become extremely buggy and the user interface has become so complicated with them trying to add too many new features. Not to forget I lost all my historical data when they upgraded their data stack. While in past I have gifted or recommended more than 10ppl, I think one should look for other similar devices and not go for actofit anymore.

Data stealing app- Why does it need to collect phone numbers for every family members? Plus app doesn't work most of the time. Switching profiles is such a hassle, why switching profiles opens profile creation form every fudging time. It's so irritating to use. And adding profile doesn't work. I added a profile once. It doesn't show when switching profiles. Adding again will give same error saying already profile exists with same phone number. Why so complicated for weighing machine. PATHETIC!!!

App keeps crashing. Does not sync with Google Fit. I have the SmartScale pro and it does not capture the data for my wife's profile. Also, each time the scale and the app need to be reconnected. I have only 1 actofit device, why can't the app auto detect when it's turned on? Why do I have to manually select it again from Actofit's complete catalogue of devices?
