Terrific platform, with content that is updated regularly, usability that is device agnostic, UX design that is easy to navigate and makes sense. the mobile apps allow for you to download and view content while offline, which will update on the course or lesson after you are back online. All around great, I highly recommend

It would be difficult to make the app more useless .. - Bookmarks don't work. No matter what is actually bookmarked, it won't show up ... under Bookmarks - Recent Activity doesn't work. No matter what you've viewed or done, it won't show there. - Downloads don't work. They _appear_ to download, and maybe they actually do, but they won't show up under Downloads. You get to hunt around in the Library for the course you're trying to take, every time you go back into the app.

The course content and exams are great, but offline need further improvement. After about 1 full year of use, the application download functionality is still bad. When on weak/no connection, the application continues to prioritize fetching from the internet, instead of the supposedly downloaded video on my phone. The video player could be improved a bit more like by removing the functionality to auto play video while in picture-in-picture after unlocking phone.

The content is a good place to start and is really well put together and frequently updated to keep up with changes in AWS. I cannot speak to other content. The app itself, however, has a drawback that I find to be so wasteful of my time and inconvenient that I am considering switching to their competition. When used on mobile the classes don't sync. I often have to rewind and "force finish" a lesson multiple times for it to register that I have completed it. I contacted support to no avail.

App needs some work. 1. Can't save downloaded courses to SD card (other major learning platforms allow downloads to SD. This isn't a copyright issue for them). 2. Can't slowdown videos less than normal (1x) speed. 3. Can't expand videos to full screen for playback. 4. Can't change video playback to landscape mode. Other features like quizzes and test are great.

Phone overheated when watching videos, figure it was my phone since it was pretty beat up so bought a new one (pixel7 -> pixel8) and new one is also overheating causing video to stutter and pause Attempted to download videos to see if it was streaming data causing the issue but no videos ever downloaded. I'd say stick to the website but that is also slow, which is why I switched to mobile. The content seems good, informational and easily disgestable, wish I could truly confirm that though

It was really tough to choose between Cloud Academy (now QA) and ACloudGuru. My company paid for A Cloud Guru for a cooked of years and ultimately chose QA because of the extensive comparison and tracking tools. The training you accomplish gets ranked against other in your office and company which keeps a nice competitive edge for traning incentive. QAs mobile app is excellent, the labs are great. 5 stars! I use QA for AWS and Azure training.

Whenever I download videos to watch offline they don't work and I have to reconnect to watch them, what's the point of having such a feature utterly disappointed.
