Constantly complains about no Internet access while other apps have no problem at all. When the app complains, the watch vibrates and shows an X on screen. Extremely annoying. I worry it won't send an alert if it's busy complaining about Internet.

App tells me that device has disconnected from the internet around 25+ times per day. That is despite my Internet being fine. A get an alarm that I must turn off on the watch each time. Sometimes these alarms continuously happen one after another - implying that turning off the alarm doesn't even do anything to silence the issue. Update: Empatica has failed to respond to this issue.

Good device. Mediocre app that was rushed out the window. I can't even get an MMS type of text message sent to me while I'm on WiFi without the app going all "No internet connection" despite everything with my WiFi being just fine. Support didn't help at all with their joke of "debug steps". Are you gonna ask me to factory reset my phone next?

We purchased this almost exclusively for the combination of location monitoring with seizure notification. The location services don't work and it's currently a known issue with no resolution that isn't communicated unless you report a problem. Always great to pay extra for nothing. The sensitivity is so high it'll go off on normal tasks like brushing my teeth or hair then randomly stay disconnected all day because it doesn't like the strength of the service connection even on wifi.

Mostly false alarms but does it's job when there is a seizure and allows us to sleep.

Our young son has been using this for about two months now and so far we've had six false alarms. It would be great if the sleep tracking could be added on as a separate item since we only care about that functionality from the $533/yr plus plan, vs the plan below it. Update: if you have tips to avoid false alerts, why not post them here for all to see?

This app and smartwatch provides the only FDA validated seizure monitor. It's much improved over their earlier one, which was also FDA validated, but this one has days of battery life and has even fewer false alarms - the best on the market according to FDA's tests.
