Not only are the puzzles hard to find... theyre trying to charge $1 a day to access them!! Just gonna stick to NYT puzzles for $3 a month. What a rip off.

You can't search for an article or author. Seriously. It's 2020 and it's a news app with no search function. Also, it doesn't link to browser content. So if I click a link for an article on Twitter, it doesn't open in the app. It takes me to my browser. Also, I have a paper delivery for weekends, which is wrong at least once a month, and there is no way to report this in the app. Actually, there is no account management in the app at all. Management obviously doesn't care about technology.

for the last few days, thia app seems to have lost its mind. It first appears as a thin strip of reduced version of what I nrmally see when opening The Age. Then, having opened and read one article in the 'front page', I can't get back to the front page. I just get a blank white screen with an Age banner across the top. I can only move from the first article by clicking on one of the articles following at the end. Also, the three line navigation bars, top left are either missing or reduced to two or one bar and don't work. I'm thinking I'll switch to The Guardian...

Late 2021, revised from original 5 star review. The paper copy of the age in digital form that was available has been removed. Can no longer zoom in on the text to make it easier to read. The original digital version of the Age for iPad 10 or so years ago was by far the best. Each iteration since has gotten worse. Especially the auto loading ads in articles that cannot have the audio turned off. Used to be my favourite app, subscription for a decade now. Seriously considering cancelling.

I've given up on this app. No ability to bookmark inside the app, no ability to open multiple stories at once, no option to open in browser. You read what you're looking at and that's it. These are day one missing features too, all with existing native support in the chrome browser, so clearly not a priority for Fairfax. If you love the Age, put a bookmark on your home screen. A much better experience.

Android is one of the leading OS platforms around, and I was surprised as many others are that it took so long to get this up and running. That aside it's nice to see Fairfax Media moving forward with this, BUT there are some tings that can't come soon enough. 1. The ability to download scheduled off-line content overnight ready for the commute in the morning. I feel so out of the loop, when everyone else is ready their analogue newspaper and I can't read mine. This has to be the highest on the list given the reviews below. 2. The "to the left" or "to the right" swipe could be fine tuned so that it is less sensitive to the unsteady hand :-) twitter feeds direct to the APP for the latest news? Thanks

Terrible experience trying to cancel my subscription. This cannot be done online and requires a phone call despite being a 'digital' subscription. Clearly done so that people find it too much effort and don't cancel. The app itself works well and have paid for the content for years so it is a shame they have resorted to this tactic.

EDIT : Fairfax responded and updated the UI! Much better! Bizarre user interface which actually makes it hard to browse the paper other than the headlines on the front page, there's literally no way to browse other than choose to create a My News section, it's like they're trying to reduce readers of anything but the top 10 daily articles!
